Don’t be a genius to realize that I am, you are, he or she is. They are very basic grammar knowledge.
But for this sentence that:
You can marry him if your boyfriend are handsome and rich.
Is it correct?
Or I must change “ARE” because “IS” is correct that you can marry him if your boyfriend is handsome and rich.

This is very basic for sure, but I real didn’t know.

By the way, which one is correct about hereunder:
A grammar question of basic.

The place or situation could be anywhere where you are surrounded with people who speaks a totally different language.

You can't just browse the translation book/dictionary from A-Z fast enough to learn every verb you need to communicate with the people, so what few verbs (or action words) you need to learn fast to communicate with them. (They could be French/Chinese/German or Martian people... you know what I mean).

phonetically, when pronounced with a British (Cockney) accent?

I think it would be like "O-y-pen" but not really, because it's not the 'oy' as in "oil".

Any ideas?

Where do the punctuation marks such as "?" and "!" and ", " go within the parentheses in a sentence such as this? He ran to the door and asked her, "Why are you here" but she screamed at him, "Leave me alone" and ran back into the street.

I think that learning if an object is female or male is the hardest part so far. There seems to be no logic to why certain things are male and others female.

I've been meaning to ask this, and that last Spanish podcast question reminded me.

Does anyone know of any *entertainment* podcasts, preferably news podcasts, comedy shows, or even audiobook/poetry podcasts in French? I'm not looking for educational podcasts, like Pimsleur's. I've tried looking on iTunes and all they seem to feature are "learn French NOW" podcasts.
