If you mean "guera" (like wera) than it means "blond girl" or "white girl"

The male version, "guero" is also used.

This a is a strictly Mexican term, not found in the other Spanish speaking countries.

Sometimes someone is called guero/guera just because they have lighter skin, even if they have dark hair. Other times it is because they are blond, even if they died their hair.

Hi Heather,
Guera, with only one 'r' is a mexican idiomatic expression for a blond hair girl.
A 'guero' is a blonde man.
It is pronounced: goo-eh-rah

Guerra - which is pronounced "gair-ra" (NOT Gwerra) means "war" in Spanish.

The English word "guerrilla" is actually the Spanish word for "little war"; "guerrillas" in the sense of "fighters" is actually "guerrilleros" (warriors of little war) in Spanish.

The word "Guerra" also means "war" in Portuguese and Italian as well. In Portuguese it is pronounced more or less as in Spanish (although the "a" on the end has a less open sound in Portuguese); in Italian the "u" is sounded "Gwair-rah)
