Hi,
I - functions as the subject of a sentence.
me - functions as the object of a sentence.
Example:
I am having a piece of cake. My mother gave me the cake.
However, I is also the 9th letter in the alphabet. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I, and so on.
bye...

Here are examples of their uses to make your understanding clearer::
I like to drink lots of water and less beer.
I spend less than three hours on Y!A daily.
I don't like people who talk and do
nonsense.
He/she/you and I are like brothers.
They and I like to sing karaoke.
See, I don't like trolls,predators and such.
Please help me.
You don't know me.
Give me some space will you?
Tell me, are you a good friend?
Use these often in speech and writing over the next 30 days and you will get a good idea of using 'I' and 'me' soon.
