i am getting married soon.however i have a coworker who is copying my wedding.ive never shared much of my personal life to those at work except w/ a couple friends i work w/ but even if we tlaked about personal life it was when we were alone. after i got engaged i reveiled a lil more.the older women brought in old photos and there were discussions of things that go wrong and things that go right etc etc. the things that i ended up reveiling during these conversations were picked up and copied by a man a work with. he bought his fiance the exact rings i have, took r wedding colors, even r wedding date!! when he found out my fiance was a computer programmer he told me he was going to school for programming. i congratulated him. a few wks later i asked how his classes were going (it was only him and I) and he claimed he never told me that and i was lying. i have since not reveiled anything. but my question is since were getting married the same day how can i save coworkers the awkwardness

I was in the bank this morning. The teller is about in her 50s. I am male, 29 years old, very young looking (people sometimes mistake me as 22).

After my transaction, the teller thanked me with the exact words, "Thank you, dear."

I felt totally offended by this. I am not a kid. I'm a professional adult. She could call me by my first name or Mr Lastname or Sir. But not dear. Am I overreacting? Is there a proper etiquette how to address a client in the bank?

I guess when somebody is far away it does not matter, but when they are 2 feet away, I can't help but to look at their mouth when their speaking. I feel that by looking at their mouth I can undertandt them clearer by lip reading I guess. So, do you AS THE SPEAKER ever notice that? Have you ever said: why is that person staring at my mouth instead of my eys?

What do you think about offices displaying overtly religious artifacts & symbols (like statutes, posters & rosaries) in the general work area where people of mixed religions work? Should offices remain non-denominational or should bosses be allowed to display their religious beliefs in their own businesses despite how this may make other employees feel?

I have been seeing all these questions on farting. I know it is natural and from an etiquette stand point women generally do not fart. You life must be hell!! or are guys just gassier?

My grandma farts like crazy. What the deal with this? At what point do you just say the hell with it and let it rip? I feel your pain.

hi most girls think that if a guy doesnt wear undies under his board shorts or wears speedos his rude but its ok for them to be topless and only wearing a thong thats ok and yet the guys are the rude ones hey,

what is the difference between bra and panties, and a bikini at the beach? why is it acceptable to see a woman in a bikini at the pool or beach but it is indecent to see a woman in her bra and panties checking the mail?

I have a large family, and I've found that in the past they have generally sent holiday gifts for my children that weren't age appropriate. For example, last year my girls were 2 and they recieved many play sets with tiny pieces and a ton of clothes sized 4T. I'm thinking of sending out notes this year with general information such as their sizes, interests, and characters they like as sort of a guide. I know I would personally appreciate it if others did this to help me buy gifts for their children, but I'm worried that they may not see it this way. Its not that I don't appreciate what they do for my kids, I just would hate for everyone to spend their time and money buying something that can't even be used for another year or two again. I thought about sending letters asking for this information first, but the people that buy these gifts don't have children so that won't really work. Does anyone have any opinions or better ideas?

im 15 & i called my grandma. she never answers her phone. she is always busy & hanging out with her older firends. i havent seen her for 2 weeks. i see her once a week usually. so i left her a message two days ago saying this:

hi grandma, this is alyssa calling.
im sorry to bother you.
but i was wondering if you wanted to do something.
its been a while and i really miss you.

I'm getting married soon (2nd marriage) and we are having an informal ceremony and celebration. My sister lives across the country, is much older, and is high maintenance. I know that she is not going to enjoy the party, plus she will probably be a pain in the a**. Nevertheless, I feel that I have to invte her - and she feels like she has to come. Is there any tactful way to end this charade and tell her that its okay if she stays at home without being rude?

A white person said he's moving from to USA & he was gonna have a good time. Then this person responded saying "go back to your country, you terrorist!"

How can the answerer be so ignorant and naive? How can he even think that white people can be terrorists? Oh no, only if you are a West Asian or South Asian person you can be a terrorist - am I right?

We've been together 6 years, we'd been talking about getting engaged. Now he says he can't do it because he can't let go of some things that happened in the past. My heart is breaking and I just want to scream and cry, but I'm sitting at a desk in an open newsroom and I just can't let it out. How do I keep my composure? Should I just go home?? I recently discovered someone invaded my privacy by looking through some personal papers of mine that contained my personal writing projects (i.e. thesis). Why would someone do this to me especially when this is a someone I barely know? This person also had the audacity to criticize my work even though it has been used by my teachers as examples time. By the way she had asked me some questions, I deduced she had looked through some papers of mine. In short, I put 2 and 2 together and figured out her scheme. Why?

i was on a bus and i was sitting nxt to a handicaped type old lady im a guy? There was nothing wrong with my face or clothes i checked in the miror and no one else seemd to be laughing or staring at me weirdly but this old lady kept looking back at me and gigigling??

what i would like to know is when a old lady laughhs at you and keeps loking back at you does that mean thers something wrong with your face or how you look again no one else were laughing exept this old lady??

--Another thing i was walking on the sidewalk getting ready to cross the street and this woman kinda young but she did have a husband in seat next to her..she kept smiling at me when i turned my head she stopped i saw put the side of my eyebut whever i glanced at her she has this huge smile and as she made the tun to get on the road she was still looking at me at smiling
