When a girl at the gym is dressed provacatively, but you resist the temptation to gawk at her and or make lewd coments and give her the space she needs, even if she does look at you or try to benear you.Is it considered weak in this day and age?

If she's really dressing "provocatively," then she wants to be looked at, so go for it.

You have developed a rare talent.
If you can keep your eyes on her face rather than letting them drift to the cleavage while speaking to her, you stand a much better chance of getting to know her.
The gawkers don't typically get any respect... they are pretty much regarded as cannon fodder.
Lewd comments are a definite turn-off... they show a total lack of respect.

I would consider the guy's behavior to be gentlemanly. Weak? Hardly. It takes a strong will not to stare at someone who is showing their goodies to everyone.

No, it's not weak. It shows you have a lot of discipline and inner strength.

Seriously? You want to know if it's 'weak' to NOT treat someone like sh*t?

If it is considered weak, it shouldn't be. I see it as "decent".
