what is the difference between bra and panties, and a bikini at the beach? why is it acceptable to see a woman in a bikini at the pool or beach but it is indecent to see a woman in her bra and panties checking the mail?

Good question. Most of the time underwear covers more. In civilized places like Europe, nudity is accepted. We have clothing optional beaches here & have a lot of European tourists. They don't have a problem with the naked body. If we are created in God's image, isn't it insulting to God to cover it up? The devil was the one who started that nonsense.

Apparently you don't know too much about the topic of proper etiquette or you would not be wasting your time asking such silly questions. A bra and panties are UNDERGARMENTS. A bikini usually has some lining and is considered proper outwear if it is decent. There is a huge difference between and woman wearing a bikini at a pool and a woman checking the mail in her bra and panties. Proper etiquette can help cure a lot of embarrassment by thinking before hand.

A bra and panties are usually very thin and somewhat transparent to some degree. A bikini is usually made of thicker material and has a liner usually.

How nice of you to ask. I wear my bra and panties when I have company over and I just dare them to say anything about it. It covers way more than most bathing suits do anyway.

It's just not considered decent to walk around outside in bra's and panties as they are considered underwear.
