I recently discovered someone invaded my privacy by looking through some personal papers of mine that contained my personal writing projects (i.e. thesis). Why would someone do this to me especially when this is a someone I barely know? This person also had the audacity to criticize my work even though it has been used by my teachers as examples time. By the way she had asked me some questions, I deduced she had looked through some papers of mine. In short, I put 2 and 2 together and figured out her scheme. Why?

Sounds like jealousy to me combined with laziness in having to do work on their own thesis, and now, you need to learn from this. The lesson; when someone shows you who they are, believe them. Now that you know this person's game, you need to keep them at arm's length and never trust them again. You may be stabbed in the back and/or be plagiarized before you're thesis is completed. You may be in real danger of this problem with your paper. Good luck.

Some people have a habit of looking through other people's thing--so, be careful. Not everyone is polite and think about if they would want others to do it to them.

There's really no answer, some people just have a lot of nerve. But it sounds like to me, she may be a little jealous.

She is envious of you and she is freaking out. If you have a proof about your accusations, report her to your adviser. Otherwise, if nothing happens, strive harder to be even better and better----the way for her to the limbo!
