hi grandma, this is alyssa calling.
im sorry to bother you.
but i was wondering if you wanted to do something.
its been a while and i really miss you.
but thats okay. i know your busy.
call me back. thanks.

was that a good message? i left it 2 days ago & she still isnt calling me back. i havent talked to her for 2 weeks. does she hate me? she isnt out of town. help! i miss her.

No Alyssa, that was not a rude message. Any grandmother should be happy to have a granddaughter who wants to see her. I dare say most would complain their grandchildren are too busy to see them. I wish my grandmothers were still around to call! So keep calling her, and do NOT let her lack of response get you down.

The message you left on her machine isn't rude, no.

But, posting the exact same question several times IS rude. And, not bothering to choose a 'best answer' to everyone else who has answered this exact same question over the past several weeks is also rude.

Based on your other posts, it really sounds to me like you need some professional help. Talk to your mom and make her take you to a psychologist.

No honey, this was not rude at all. Keep in mind, if she's staying busy, she may not have checked her messages! Call her again. I'm sure she'll appreciate it and she would hate that she's missing out on seeing you.

No its not rude. But it can get a little rude, opening up and reading the same question about the same grandma from the same granddaughter over and over again.

I don't see anything wrong with the message. Are you sure she isn't out of town? Would your mom know? If not, you (or someone) might want to check on her and make sure she is okay.

Relax. She's an old lady. Give her a break. You sure do like your Grandma huh?

The message wasn't rude at all. Be happy you have a grandmother who is active and enjoying her life.

Be patient with her. You never know the complications adults have at times and do not share.
I'm sorry for your trouble. I hope all gets better for you very soon.

I don't think it sounds rude, but maybe just try calling her again- maybe she doesn't check her phone messages regularly???
