and you give the right answer, they give you a thumbs down. Especially when all information can be easilly researched. Is it because people are skeptic or is it because they wait for the person who is going to tell them what they want to hear. What's your opinion.

What would happen if I did stick both my middle fingers to the teenage boy myself with both my hands for harassing me?
I did flip him off a couple months ago but he was just annoying me back in the summer I think.

You know, the type with no respect or kindness, who is arrogant and embarrasses people and isn't funny, but they think they are hot shots. I seem to attract this type of person and am sometimes offended by their stupidity and annoying behavior. What is the best way to handle it? I have given them a dirty look or two.

We are hosting a "Welcome New Neighbor" get together for new neighbors. I am serving beverages and heavy hors d'ouevres. The event is scheduled for two hours, and will be relatively informal. The guests include a few (not all) nearby neighbors within the subdivision. Is it necessary (or expected) that I also provide hostess gifts to the neighbors who have been invited to meet the new couple? If so what sort of gift would be recommended?

Also - what are the guidelines as to when a hostess should provide a hostess gift to the guests (or take-home goodie bag)? Thank you, very much.

Why is it when you ask a serious question, a lot of people answer you in the same fashion as someone who asked an idiotic question? Just trying to get points??????

I dread sending out Christmas cards every year. I don't even really like receiving them. Anyone else feel that way? And, do I have to send cards to relatives that I don't like and haven't spoken to in years? (like my old, crusty great-aunts that don't even know my name)

My husband puts my three-year-old daughter in “time out” for picking her nose and eating it. I’m trying to think of other gross things that people do that ARE social acceptable, like smoking or burping (in some countries). Can you think of any?

As for eating it, I’d rather her do that than wipe it on the couch. OBVIOUSLY a tissue is best, but why is nose picking/eating SO BAD (aside from the whole germ thing)?

It seems pretty obvious to me yet they will continue to talk to me or hand me paper work while I am talking. No, its not personal phone calls -it calls from a customer. This is very aggravating!

There are times when I will be near a woman that looks especially pretty or she is wearing an outfit that really compliments her. Is it okay to tell her "You look really nice today." or, as a man am I seen as some kind of freak trying to pick up on her?

I need to mail a card to a couple, but I don't know how to address them on the envelope. The wife's last name is her maiden name hyphenated with her husband's name (example: Smith-Brown). The card's for both of them, so how do I address it?

I am attending a black tie (Hogmanay) Ball and need to know acceptable styles/ colours for ball gowns - and do they have to flare out quite so much at the bottom - Is blue velvet (long, semi flared at the base) acceptable? or a long, black fitted dress which is narrow at the bottom - I take it that a wrap/ shawl/ scarf is a non-negotiable? Also, how can I tell if a dress is intended to be a bridesmaid's dress or an evening dress? Help! - are there any socialites out there? (I've finally decided to play instead of work - but it seems that I haven't received the rules for the game)

One of the things I like to do in a club is to squeeze past girls and to gently caress their bum as I pass. Usually they dont even notice. Sometimes they look around but I've gone by then. Is this OK?

Hey, I have to go to this formal lunch with my 8th grade manners class. I asked a girl. She was a little mean to me, but she is the only decent girl in the class. Decent meaning that they haven't called me a 'retard' yet. She said:"I'll think about it." Is she playing some girl game to get me to like her more, is she just saying that to get me to go away, or is she being choosey? She is one of the umpopular girls, but I am one of the unpopular boys, so we match. Or am I taking this the wrong way?

I am at work right now. I work at a hospital. We just saw a lady (not a patient) that was talking on her cell phone walking down the hall. We told her that cell phones are not permitted on our unit, but, she rolled her eyes and contined to talk. As she was walking to the stairs she got distracted and tripped and SLID down about 8 steps! She was not hurt and a couple of us went to check on her. She was so embarrassed that she got up and ran out! After she left, we all just fell out laughing (dude for real, one of my co-workers was actually on the floor). Do you think we were wrong?

What do you say to this - I'm petite and young looking for 29 yrs old and a mommy - I constantly get rude remarks from people because they think that I am a teenage mom. Wardrobe doesn't seem to make a difference - I've even gotten comments while in a suit. That and how insensitive of people...what if I was a teenage mom? Way to make people feel bad. Any suggestions as to how to respond back to comments? I don't want to appear rude but basically want to make the person feel rude for making some sort of age comment to me in the first place. Thoughts?

I work at a coffee shop and the manager decided to go there one day, drunk to get some cafeine in order to sober up, how ethical or professional is it for a manager to act like that in front of her employees?
