yahoo has been having troubles with the whole reporting abuse thing. you could have just been a victim of that. or some fool thought your question was offensive.

Because Yahoo is arbitrary and evil. Ever try to talk to customer service? Can you even find their CS number? There are dozens of BBB complaints about Yahoo.
