It seems whenever people hear running water it makes us have to pee. I am curious how many women that this happens to and if you get out of the shower to pee in the toilet or if you just pee in the shower. For men, the answer is pretty obvious, we just aim for the drain, it all goes does the same pipes anyways. Besides, peeing in the shower not only saves time but, also saves water and keeps the floor dry. If any of you ladies do pee in the shower, have you ever done it while showering with another individual?

For the next week I have absolutely nothing to do at work. I am mostly spending my time online looking around at what is the latest in the news and other little things. I am not that interested in playing games online. What do you all recommend I do with my time? What do you do at work when there is no actual "work" to do? I need to stay here all day and I can't do anything obnoxious out in the open where people can see me! I do have a computer here at my desk so I could do anything online that's not noisy.

ahhh i was just stuck behind this old couple just standing on the esculator..
i know i could have asked them to step aside so i could squezze by and walk down..
but i decided instead to put it to all of you..

do you stand on the esculator or do you walk down?
does it bother you when people just stand there?

i dislike it like a lot and find it an inconvience when i'm in a hurry to get down to the lower level.

am i really impatient?

I have some friends whom at first we had a great relationship. We have done some "you catch me this time, I'll catch you next time" stuff, but now lately the only time that they call is if they need to borrow money! Is there any way to "nicely" ask why that is? I just feel anymore we're just a 'bank' to them and kinda wanna know WTF? is the deal with that. I'm not a rude person, so really don't want to go that route. Friendship is obviously done with, but still would like to know what's up..any ideas?

I have my cell phone set and hearts light up for only certain people. Other people have to leave a message. Should I feel guilty or do you do it too? Thanks!

Like pampered chef, tupperware, etc. when it's someone inviting you that never asks you to do anything else. I don't mind going to these things if it's for someone I do other stuff with but if they never ask me unless I have to buy something it's insulting!!

What do you all think "uba tuba" means?

When at a restaurant, one of our friends decided to order fried chicken wings. Well he picked up the wing and began to eat, that was not the bad part. After he got what meat he could the first time, he decided he was going to suck the bone and eat the gristle. OUT IN PUBLIC?

I asked him why he was doing that and could he just eat properly. His answer was,

"When I was a child my mother told me that I should eat all my food and not waste anything. There are people out there who would love to have the meat you are leaving on the bones. Since I paid good money, I am going to eat it all!"

The other lady at the table asked if he was going to eat the bones, too. He said, "I'm not sure....maybe. Let me see if I have room at the end."

Needless to say, he did not eat the bones!

How many agree? Were we over reacting?

I quite often find people saying my name when they are talking to me when there is absolutely no need for it- for example- 'yes kate', 'no kate' etc etc. I find this incredibly patronising- is it meant to be?

Why are men in public toilets careful about closing the door behind them when they are peeing in the toilets but not at all embarrassed/anxious about using the urinals?

My mom and husband tell me i'm an easy target because i'm too nice. I don"t like to be rude or grumpy, life is to short. Any way, my supervisor walked into work today and said don't talk to me for 1/2 an hour, that's how I come to work. Then she procedded to go to another office and talk to a co worker for an hour. isn't that rude!!!

I already bought gifts for my friend's bridal shower, and i've been told money is the most appropriate gift for the actual wedding. How much should I give? I am going alone. If it matters, it is not black tie, but to my knowledge is not 'cheap' either.
