I work on side projects, sell things on eBay or work on my homework if I'm signed up for a on line class.
If this is a "career" job, then learn as much about the company/job as you can. Volunteer to help a college always is a good thing.

I answer questions on here and write e-mails to my friends. On occasion, they are bored too at work, and it turns out we e-mail eachother like it is AIM. It is fun, and a good way to stay connected with friends.
If you are into myspace, that could keep you busy for a little while. You could modify your entire page.
You could also reasearch and make your own web page. This takes time, it is fun, and you put what you like into the page.
have you looked up logic puzzles or riddles. They can keep me busy for a long time.
Let me know if you need more ideas. I can think of more!
Good luck, and I hope you get some work soon!

I'm on myspace alot, I answer questions on here (well, for the last couple of days), I keep up work-looking stuff and then I play muted games until someone walks in and I change it quickly, that's always fun because if you're not fast enough, you might get caught! Yeah, I'm bored alot. My job is to sit here and wait for the phone to ring.

Can't say I can relate to the "nothing to do" problem, but I certainly get bored. I say you should make yourself a cocktail...4oz sugar free red bull and 8 oz diet Pepsi. Trust me, you'll be so wired you'll find plenty to do!

rack up points on yahoo answers, or shop - ebay is awesome, and who knows, you could find some cool stuff you never knew you wanted.
