I know a girl and some people call her by the nickname: "uba tuba."

What do you all think "uba tuba" means?

It is probably something she tried to say as a child learning to speak and mispronounced.Or something a sibling called her in the same fashion.Parents think this is cute sometimes, and they will use it,and it will stick as a nickname. My mother used to mispronounce her sisters name. Her name was Carolyn, and my mother mispronounced it as Taja. And to this day they are over 60 years old,and that is my mothers own private nickname for my aunt Carolyn.
