We're in the middle of a Mediterranean heatwave, there are outdoor cafes springing up everywhere...are we becoming more like our European cousins in the way we kiss each other when we greet?

18 Years Old...the owner of this store seems to prefer us employees (we are all female ) to wear tight jean, or really short shorts, or mini's. He doesn't say that specifically, but it is understood, and encouraged...he also will not hire anyone who is not a cigarette smoker...that part is not a problem because I started smoking at sixteen. My mother does not like it, but she lives with is cuz that the way I am...Anyway..I recently updated my wardrobe to include a couple pairs of really tight fitting jeans and 3 pairs of really short shorts for the summer( they are extremely tight too).. The problem is my mother...she does not feel I should wear this kind of thing to work...if I don't I won't fit in with the girls..but she complains about me showing too much..what should I do..I really like my job...and although the boss does not say anything he seems to hire the types of girls who smoke and dress this way..so I am just fitting in ..is my mother wrong?

A misandrist is a male hater. And misandric is the adjective; i.e. 'she is a misandric woman'. Ya like that baby?

I live in a terraced house, and I have to put up with one side banging and hammering until sometimes gone 10.30pm which I think is too late, and on the other side are constanting screaming matches.

There are also some awful people up the road up sit oiut the front and have their music blasting that loud that I can hear it with all my windows and doors shut, so god knows what it must be like for their neighbours.

There are people constantly screaming and shouting and swearing, and I think that although people shouldnt have to be quiet, they should think about other people living in the houses nearby and not make so much noise. I dont have my music on loud, not do I shout and scream out the back or make a ton of noise.... maybe I shouldnt care like everyone else and just make as much noise as I want. Am I being too stuck up for thinking this?

I have certainly no problem with either Jewish people nor Vegeterians but have little experience with both. What should i not do? They will not be staying for long, acouple of hours the most.

Racistic or vulgar remarks WILL be reported!

I've never done this, but I've heard people who do. When invited on a date, the person who's NOT paying ends up ordering lobster or some other very expensive item on the menu. And if you really wanted lobster, would you just order it , or would it prompt you to ask the person who's paying first? What do you think is the best way to handle that awkward situation?

More and more poeple everywhere are deciding not to work and care for their families. The same people will go to public aid facilities and seek assistance with shelter cost and food. Why is it that some individuals won't even work fast food, but will sit at home and get assistance from individuals who work very hard to earn a living. We would probably have less problem in the world if the man who did not work, did not eat. We would have less people and there for more resources. Also we would not have the burden of making sure there was enough money taken from the working person tp support the "man who does not work". We would also at the same time teach the next up and coming generation that it is necessary to work and contribute in order to be a part of society.

From asking a few simple questions people are making vast assumptions on my life. How is that possible... They think my name is simon for goodness sake. They become hostile and abusive very quickly. Are they not at peace with themselves? Do they have some crazy internal battle that they project into the world? Is this rudeness and insults really required? It is a good thing that I choose who I associate with.

This really upsets me. Why do spouses or significant others (some) only want you to be aroung married friends or gay people. They say they trust you, but if you are not allowed to be around single people or people of the opposite sex, I believe that is just insecurity and hypocrisy. If your mate has never given you any inclination whatsoever of cheating, what makes this right or just proper? I think it sucks. You lose your innocent freedom just to feel good and not argue about what you want to do. That is just so unfair, but maybe I am just selfish?
