More and more poeple everywhere are deciding not to work and care for their families. The same people will go to public aid facilities and seek assistance with shelter cost and food. Why is it that some individuals won't even work fast food, but will sit at home and get assistance from individuals who work very hard to earn a living. We would probably have less problem in the world if the man who did not work, did not eat. We would have less people and there for more resources. Also we would not have the burden of making sure there was enough money taken from the working person tp support the "man who does not work". We would also at the same time teach the next up and coming generation that it is necessary to work and contribute in order to be a part of society.

Are you taking into account people like me.

I have sent out hundreds of resumes and cannot figure out why no one will hire me. I have tried to make money in my own but do not have this talent. My expenses always seem to exceed my revenue. EBay is a flop for me as I can't find a product that is profitably sellable there. I am not lacking education. I worked as an Electronics Engineer on my last job. I am very good with electronics. That was 4 years ago. I worked there 22 years. I was laid off for lack of work. I am an older person, but have a lot of good experience no one seems to need. I have to test for a technicians job tomorrow. I will spend the good part of an afternoon doing this. I am not getting my hopes up because I have been shot down too often in the last four years. Most of the jobs I have applied for I believe I could take off running and need little training for. It is obvious no one else felt this way. I have a very bare refrigerator right now and the bank account is also almost empty. My vehicle is worn out from trying to find a job that pays enough just to pay my bills. I wish I was dead as opposed to being in this position. I have already spent my life savings. I don't want to make a lot of money, but just enough to get by and pay my bills. I can't imagine what it is like for someone with no training at all, but some of them seem to have an edge on me.

Those are wonderful insights. But I guarantee you even if you post those wonderful insights down at the Social Services facility in you hometown, it wouldn't raise the next Food Stamp recipients eyebrows, much less the will to work.

No it seems words that attack a social problem from the surface has very little bearing on the root of the issue. What we have here is a failure to launch. The average person sitting back on the laurels of public assistance could care less about how the working class deduces their actions.

I am a hard working woman. Supporting myself. Have my own place, my own ride. I owe everything that is in my life to God. Until a person's mind and thought process is renewed, that person's attention span is isolated and autonomous. In other words "it's all about me".

No we have to come up with something that will ignite and give the average lazy person something to get excited about. Have we ever thought about raising the pay scale?? Oh my that might put everybody on an equal playing field. We don't want that in our Capitalist society do we? That's too much like equality.

How about making medical insurance affordable? Maybe then people wouldn't have to feign mental illness to get to see the doctor. How about giving single mothers a larger slice of the pie? OOps that might mean they would stop having babies in order to increase the size of their welfare assistance.

Let's see should we castrate deadbeat dads? It seems cutting into their income tax returns, sends them undercover and out of work to keep from supporting their own children. What will we do? What will we do?

Darling...we need Jesus! No system, no plan, no scheme, no program is going to alleviate and properly propagate our economy to the satisfaction of resolution. We need Jesus just to maintain and help what we see as wrong in our society, until He returns.

Peace Out.

True words. Ive read of street beggars in Seattle making 100,000 per year and Im sure its the same in alot of big cities. I know a guy who gave a beggar some money, then later watched the beggar get into a brand new pickup truck. Someone will always be there for people who want to take.

If someone is just being lazy, I can agree.
He/she should not be on welfare.

"teach the next up and coming generation that it is necessary to work and contribute in order to be a part of society".
- yes we need a stronger work ethic.
My grandma used to say something similiar like the man who doesn't work, doesn't eat.

If someone can't work, well thats a whole other ball game.- But your not talking about ppl who can't, your talking about ppl who won't.

As young as 18, I dream of becoming a president of my country soon. If that'd be the case, I'd have squatters "cleared" but to do it I have to permanently invalidate Human Rights; meaning, killed and their houses down to ashes coz they're the reason why corrupt leaders and traditional politicians exist here. Every election season, they get paid to vote for just about 200-500 pesos per head plus they majorly pollute the rivers and lakes here which really throws out our tourism industry. So don't worry, if given the chance I'll work out this dream

You are an insensitive fascist. Grow a heart. Try losing everything for any reason, sleeping in a bus shelter with all of your belongings in a bag, and YOU try to find gainful employment from people who think JUST LIKE YOU DO!!! People like you make me SICK.
