What should my response be? Should I accept?

like shoving on buses and barging to the front of the line and not saying thank you for holding the door open!

Would you open it? Some of it? Or turn it in to the proper authorities? What if no one would ever know, would that change your answer? I'm not judging you, I'm just curious. Myself, I'd be reeeaaalllly tempted to open some, especially parcels!

It drives me crazy working for an US firm that everyone talks about each other using their surname...Is this polite or am I being too fussy?

I asked a simple question about hand washing in public restrooms (I didn't use any specific examples...I was asking strictly for etiquette's sake.) and got flamed by at least 4 or 5 people. What the hell is wrong with people???

I'm like, are you kidding me, that is rude. He says it's because the women he has met are grossly overweight but tell him beforehand they are hot & in good shape.

I've paid for the invites and the postage and put them in the mail. While I really need a final count for the party I am throwing (so that I can make sure I have enough food and drinks) I'm really irritated that I am probably going to have to track people down on my time and dime to get their answer. What ever happened to the common curtousey of a response? How do you deal with these people (most of which are family)?

Today in work, everytime I smiled at someone, all I got was a blank face in return. What is wrong with people?

I cant stand when people have to speak to evryone about your buisness. What really gets on my t*ts though, is when they tell you what they heard, and you ask them who they heard it from and they say they cant tell you. If people are talking behind your back, you have a right to know.
Do u know wot i meen?

Many people will not admit that they have peed in a pool because of a social stigma attached to doing it. However, we know that most people are lying and that they have done it at least as a child, and many of them as adults. Women also complain how big of a pain it is to take off a bathing suit just to pee. I am curious how many women will honestly admit that they pee in a pool? Honest answers from women only please.

when a question rambles on and on and on without ever stopping for a sentence end or concrete thought other than someone's stream of consciousness that took about 4 seconds to blurt out and is filled with bad spelling and grammar and texting"speaking" that u can find whenneva your lukin etc etc etc

I fear for the future for a lot of question posters I see.
What can we do to help promote good communication standards here?

It's not like it is meant for everyone. I think the State Department of Education requires way too much bullshit for the students to learn.

Am I the only one who aborrs bad table manners. My partner drives me daft with his. He makes an awful noise when eating; chops his food up into pieces even his Sunday roast, and then just slings his knife and fork down on the plate when he has finished eating, Aaargh! The one thing I would not tolerate under any circumstances is if he were to eat his food with his mouth open.
UCK!

after using the toilet. I generally try to steer clear of public restrooms, but sometimes you just have to go. :) I'm really tired of washing my hands to remove the dirt and germs, only to follow someone out who hasn't washed up, and having to touch the door handle after them. It pretty much makes my handwashing pointless, doesn't it? Most times I just grab a papertowel on the way out and grab the door handle with that, but some restrooms don't have towels...only air dryers.

Have you ever mentioned someone's lack of handwashing to them? Is it rude if you do?

When you are sitting across the table from someone and they are chewing with their mouth open and talking with their mouth full as you sit there watching little particles of food fly your way landing on your plate and clothes, is it proper to reinerate what that persons parents should have taught them or just grin and bear it? If you chose the latter, what would you do the next time you attended a summit meeting and the seating arrangement was the same and you had no other seating choice,(A) set up a barrier to stop the presidents projectiles from reaching your plate and have everyone wonder why or (B)wish you had realized that you had every right to let someone know that their bad manners made your meal inedible?
