Do you prefer to use email or telephone for work communication ?

Technology is advancing too quickly, which is your prefered way of communication in the work place ? Do you feel better if you receive a call or read an emotioness email ?

I am with BlkCoffee - if you need to say something with no printed evidence, it is telephone every time. face-to-face is even better.

Emails are not secure as the server people can open them, so watch what you say!

Email this way I can read the email right a not to myself and listen to my boss at the same time I can always go back and read the email 3 or 4 times but if you sit one the phone you have to focus on the person on the phone and their ten problems which they skip from one to another and you have no clue what they are saying

I enjoy email especially because it cuts down on wasted time. Some people are chatter mouths and some days I don't care on those days I LOVE email!

It also depends on the topic, are you talking about a meeting, lunch, car pool etc, or is it personal such as illness death injury etc

I choose to apply service pigeon for they are so lovable and fluffy. i do no longer desire to mail with snails for they are extraordinarily sluggish. i don't have a text fabric to message with and the telephone has maximum of numbers. I by no skill be conscious of which extensive form i'm meant to push to get everyone.each and every now and then i will use digital mail.

Depends on what I'm doing... sometimes an email is okay, but there are times when you have to be 100% sure that your message is understood, and the best way to do that is over the phone...

I prefer to use email so that I have a reference of everything that was exchanged inthe message. I make copies and file the emails to have proof of that is said. Its also easier, quicker and very profressional.

emails are blessing. With tel u have to keep redialling if num is unavailbe by the time u r connected u have already wasted several mins. Emails ......are best weapon for deniers/cheats.

Well emails are fun when u respond quikly imagine callin me and instructing me to check my emails lolllllllls

I actually prefer e-mail...it's easier for me to multi-task, and e-mails usually get to the point faster than when people are rambling on the phone.

I can make my conversation quick and to the point. I triple check emails to make sure I'm not misrepresenting my point.
