Yes we live in a small town in Michigan USA and it's important for us to know our neighbors. We're not the type to hang around together, but we do look out for one another in an emergency. By knowing our neighbors it also helps fight crime. Because if we would see someone lurking around a house, we would then know if they should be there or are an intruder.

Yes,they have lived there since I was about three and their oldest is my age and was my best friend growing up.I don't know the names of the ones behind my house. They just moved in.I do know their faces though,as I've seen the guy working around the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. And the girl used to shop where I work. So,on the one hand, they are familiar,on the other,I don't know if I'll ever know them well and that's ok,too.

'buurman' ? (neighbor, in Dutch) Not a clue. I have plenty of nicknames for my neighbors when I talk about them to my hubby though (Piano Man, Sunshine, Beyonce, Crazy Driver Lady, The People with A Thousand Kids...)

Yeah. It is the guy from PeeWee's Playhouse, Bob. He changed his name after he was caught in Alaska for being an undercover ninja for the President of the Alaskan Pizza Company. He says his favorite pizza has sled dog poo on it. He is very eccentric and sends condolences to the person who has lost five points asking this question and getting this ridiculous answer.

yep! In fact the first Tuesday in August is National night out...the streets are blocked off for a party. Last year we had about 60 people all get to know each other. I live in California, and love it! I know all lot of my neighbors...helpful hint...when they tell you your name put their address and info in your ph/address book....

I know the people directly next door to us...even know their cute little Westie's name. As for the people downstairs...don't know, don't care. They're pretty creepy. Sometimes it's best not to associate with the neighbors.

when I first moved right here eleventy years in the past, one million/2 way via the rustic from the position i replaced into born (oh, a minimum of 1800 miles) My next door neighbor to the north replaced into Mr Gold. I used to have a neighbor with that call even as i replaced into 5, and that i presumed the call so unusual, i discussed it to him. He suggested he did have kin lower back there, an uncle. guy, it really is a small international. the newborn I used to play with had a lisp, so for the longest time, i presumed his call replaced into "Wowwen" (somewhat, it replaced into "Warren") so as that replaced into style of cool. The Golds moved out 8 years in the past, making a tidy income, because the marketplace became that 3 hundred and sixty 5 days to more suitable favorable for promoting. countless people have considering come and lengthy gone, some with drug complications, maximum very youthful couples. (My daughter and her chum easily stole a dogs from easily one of them and they by no skill said). the female via the line from us has been via her united statesand downs. She's a retired problem-free college instructor, and went via a painful separation not some time previous (second husband) which we each sometimes helped her via. 2 doors south, a pair with little ones my little ones' age, can not help yet recognize them. he's east Indian and she or he's Portugese. both easily one of them are like 5 foot not something....their little ones are so tiny compared to mine (my daughters are almost six ft tall) Its somewhat exciting gazing them play. My little ones are so immature *rolls eyes* in the back of me, a swamp. Mr and Mrs Mallard. Noisy interior the morning each spring. Can by no skill sleep in. i have been right here a even as and that i do not always stay alongside of all the ameliorations Uncle. I keep to myself alot and that i garnered all this techniques second hand because i favor a crowbar to get me out of my room. that is impressive that I have any friends in any respect. No, but I know he's a nice guy. It's just that I can never remember his name. I know all my neighbours across the street, at least.
