I'm an old people and I agree with you.

It seems that lots of old folks now days have forgotten their manners completely. They've reverted to childish & immature behavior & set poor examples for our young people. Some of them have even forgotten how to smile.

when you are grown up you will realise people are not divided by age or age group but by personality, character etc. The same goes for so-called gender differences. From the tenor of your question I would guess that your personality puts you in the category of arrogant self-opionated and prejudiced (usually the most ill-mannered category of all) so god help us when you are grown up unless you change your attitude.

yes your right I think we all forget about manners when we are out among strangers... it is such a sad world we live in no one cares about anyone anymore we all walk over each other so we decline to have manners........... I too have seen older people butt in line for the bus or do not say thank you for the door you hold open.. we all need to practise what we preach.......

Sadly I have to agree with you on this.
The other day I accidentally smashed my shopping basket against this older man's (he wasn't very old, maybe 65 max) , right away I apologized, not once but at least 3 times saying "I'm sorry, really sorry, sorry again" and still he got really upset and said "yeah you better be, it wasn't MY fault".
He made me feel really bad, then I realized he's just grumpy because he's an as****e that nobody loves!

i know what you mean.you do get some nice old people though. they should be made to take a exam when they are 60 with specific questions and if they come across as the miserable old buggers that most of them are them they should be rounded up and shot like a blind old sheep dog!!!!

Oooh - another WILD generalisation! There are so many of them about at the moment. What happened to qualifiers such as 'some', 'occasionally', etc?
