I f I am walking down the sidewalk or standing at a bustop and it has rained alot and the streets are flooded, I am sometimes splashed by cars going by. Most people slow down but some do it on purpose. I think these people are imature and inconsiderate. WHo wants to get splashed with a bunch a water? I think that they deserve to get in a head on collision and have their car burst into flames.

I swear a lot, and don't find it offensive, but I do try to limit my swearing in public, because it might offend other people. Lot's of kids my age and younger seem to cram as many swear words into a sentance as possbile, usually while shouting it at the tops of their voices. Do you think people/kids swear too much? Do you find it offensive?

In England, I have found that people have no manners to speak of. People never thank the driver when they get off the bus, no one thanks me if I hold the door open for them. I get barged past without an 'Excuse me'. And what happened to the phrase 'You're welcome'? What do you think of manners or the lackthereof in this country?

I went into 3 places in London, sat down looked at the menu, at the end of the menu, states 10% service charge added to bill, so 3 times I got up and walked out....I do not have a problem tipping if the service is good, But a tip is voluntary in my eyes and given up on the quality of service, and meal, would you be prepared to walk out on this basis?? and no I am not tight

I picked up the flu on Thursday night after work. On Friday, I called in sick with the flu. My next scheduled day is today (Sunday) although I'm not sure I'm fit to return yet. Do I call in again or is it assumed that I'm still sick? Thanks

Is it embarrassing, particularly because it's so unsexy, to have to poop with the odor left over to pervade the bathroom. I know there's Lysol Neutra air now as well as Febreeze or Oust, but they usually take a little longer to work completely. I mean, for those of you who are living with a romant/sexual interest or significant other or just any roomate, how do you deal?

For example: You don't have a pencil, do you? If it's one of my students, I usually retort by saying, "Why don't you ask me?" And, they answer, but I already did. I find it really odd.
