The hearts are initially good ones. Then it is our choice to either help the devil in his job or work against him to maintain our hearts good.
Intention is the key. If you intent inside you to direct your energy toward what God loves, then your actions (the resultant of energy), will coincide with your intentions and thus you will enjoy peace inside and outside.
If your intentions are bad and your actions are good, people will judge the side they know, but God know the truth.
If your intentions are good and you acted in a wrong way, then you might not appreciated by people, but God will not punish you.
So it is only you who can change yourself as no one except God has control over you.

No, nothing is wrong with you. A person is said to have a "good heart" when they care about others and are generally kind. You know yourself (and your heart) better than anyone else, though, so you know the real motivations behind your actions. Other people only have a "snapshot" of the total you.

There is good in all hearts , some just refuse to use it , do not know how , are afraid to use it , do not want to look weak , it takes more strength to love than to harm , people notice good deeds , they notice the words that come out of your heart , the spirit in your words says more than the words !

yes there is something wrong with you. you have a low self-esteem and image of yourself. people can tell if you have a good heart by seeing that you generally, truely care about others rather than yourself.

Self esteem problem maybe. Or you are just naturally a good person and don't think about it most likely. And thats a good thing.

Because you believe the oppositte, you try harder to do what's right. I personally think I'm a nasty person also, and for whatever reason, people think the oppositte.
