Almost every culture has different ways of using personal hygiene. I would like to know the middle easterners way. It's for a culture diversity project and this culture seems hard to find info about that type of subject. Y'all can also give me links to this type of info.

Aren't some humans naturally polyamorous (meaning capable of being in love with more than one person at a time)? I am (naturally) as monogamous as they come, but is it right for me to expect or demand others be like me?

Any thoughts on this? All are welcome - not looking for arguments!!

This was brought up in a class at my college.

Ever notice that most of the black comedies out there, the white people are usually the butler, maid or the dumb kid.

The white people are always the low pay blue collar people while the blacks are doctors and such.

Otherwise the white kids are always the geeks and uncool. They always come to the black kids for advice etc..

I really never paid that much attention, but after it was discussed in class, I notice it like all the time.

How many times have you noticed it?
Is this a form of racism?

Imagine a tavern in a town. People come and go throughout the day. After work, the place begins to fill up and the volume rises. People sit about and chat. Mostly they cluster with those of like opinions. It is more important to them to maintain their opinions and beliefs than be introspective and question them. Some people flirt, some discuss the day's events. At one end of the bar sits a mean unhappy man. He insults people and tries to start brawls. When he become too obnoxious, the proprietor boots him out. In one corner table a small group is having a lively philosophical discussion. Some people are looking for advice on romance. Others want to avoid the doctor and seek medical advice.


Outside the winds began to whip up. The temperature drops with nightfall. Though the demonized wolves have been pushed to the brink of extinction, there are still stray dogs outside who scavenge for scraps. Sometimes they howl and remind people how safe and warm it is inside.

i think that the aids messages are being communicated with a western tone and that is the reason why there is a steady increase in the infection rate especially in the sub- saharan africa. i think that africans communicate effectively and correctly through proverbs because their thought pattern is very different from the other races.

People classify themselves as not being prejudice but everybody can be prejudice regardless of what race you are.
What do you guys think of the KKK?.




I personally, think its the most horriblest thing anybody could present themselves as being. It's not right its very rude.

Why do blacks want to be looked at as equal in normal situations, however when they do something good they want to be separated and tagged as the first black________? (coaches in the superbowl? why cant they let racism die. I think they are the ones who are truly racist.

I have a friend that have a son.. One time he, while sitting down with his Indian friends, commented about someone who was having dark skin passing by. He said... "His skin is like Indians..." Then their friend suddenly got angry and told the parents about it. Their parents got angry also until they brought it up to the faculty.. Why?? Why it bothered them so much? I am here, in International dormitory, with many people from 21 country.. I never..never.. think about our race differences. But when that issue came, I am becoming aware of some "sensitive part" that some race have... Can you, I really appreciate if you know for sure not just guessing, help me to understand this? Thx
