A child told me " Why grown ups say its not that easy to get along with people that are differant, but when kids do it its real easy, so why is it hard for gown ups to do it"?

Children are pure, smart and very insightful. As adults we get tainted by our hurt, jealousy and heartache so that makes it a little harder for us to keep pure thoughts. I've seen children of different races playing together, laughing and hugging each other and in the next room the parents were sitting far apart and not speaking. Grown ups could get along if we let go of stereotypes and hatred towards each other.

I think because kids don't really have to worry about a lot of things.
I could play, sleep, and eat all day and get along with everybody...

It's really pathethic that grown people who are supposed to be smart enough to realize things like this still walk around like bumbling idiots. Racism and prejudice are taught and I think it's disgusting to raise innocent children to hold tainted views about people. It's gross.

I think children are smarter than adults. They are so pure and honest yet. It's the parents and media that teach them hate and intolerance. People are so miserable these days. That child sounds very wise.

Because kids minds haven't been polutated with prejudice and everything is amazing to them but actually scares adults and makes them uncomfortable if they can't explain it. not everything need explaining and is just different and I think kids understand that better.
