I agree society has all gone wrong. White people can be called whatever they like buy other races but if they were to retaliate then they would be made in the wrong. It goes for our festivals having to be named differently because muslims and other races dont like it, however if we were to go to one of their countries we would be given no rights and would have no infleuence on there traditional ways.

The same reason why here in the U.S.A. there's the tv channel BET (Black Entertainment Television) but if there was anything close to that for white people it would be cancelled before the first hour it was on the air. I guess it's an answer to Dave Chappelle's request of "reparations for slavery". It's not money (technically), just some sort of intimidation I guess for every other race except black people. I'm not going to speak for Dave Chappelle or anyone else about slavery simply because nobody knows except the people in that time period and the close descendants (children, grandchildren) of the slaves and slave owners so it wouldn't make sense for anyone to speak about it like they are subject-matter experts on it even though it happened so long ago. I'm just saying... if a white person like myself went to a school like say... Grambling or Southern University, do you really think it wouldn't matter and nobody there would care??? Of course not, it would be like how it is already coming in society... white people are becoming the minority even though it probably wouldn't happen statistically in the world. If 9 white people and 1 black person were in a classroom... who would be the main person??? The black person, simply because they're human conversation pieces no matter what they've even done in life... just because they're black. I'm not being racist just logical. Don't try to deny it either, anyone in their right mind knows that's the case.
Hopefully that answers your question.

well if u really need this explained...
black people all over the world have dealt with a lot more prejudice and discrimination than white groups. so by insulting a black person racially u put urself in league with all the other millions of racists throughout history, from the slave traders to the kkk to the american government.
whenever there is a history of oppression racism becomes much much more than just a throw away term.
and i would also like to point out that people who moan about positive discrimination and the like tend to miss the point, racism isn't about just a name, it's discrimination that goes through the courts, the police, education, the media and employment. and white people just don't have to deal with that.
white trash is an offensive term, if u choose to take offence from it. but as there is no real reason to, most people just let it go. the reason saying black trash is unacceptable is that it hits a deeper nerve. im white by the way, so im not talking through personal experience, im just looking at the bigger picture...
and what exactly has this got to do with big brother?

Whether you are a black person calling somebody white trash or a white person calling somebody black trash it is still wrong and are racist comments.
Where the unfairness stands is that ethnics people are in the minority and through history have been subject to racist abuse where as the white race are not so sensitive as such name calling does not come with an abusive history such as slavery, concentration camps etc etc etc.
THE POINT IS THAT THEY ARE ALL RACIST COMMENTS AND SHOULD NOT BE USED BY ONE RACE TO INSULT ANOTHER

It's all about who says it.
On the surface it may seem to be just words and in a perfect world that's what it will be and it won't matter. However, people of colour, particularly black people, have been systematically discriminated against at all levels and in all areas of life. They have been pigeon holed and limits have been set on what can be expected from them, what they should look like, how they should behave and speak etc. Racism is not just about calling someone a nasty name, its about making a judgement about what (not who) a person is, expecting nothing more than a set limit (e.g. you're black so automatically you're a mugger, not great at books but good in sports, you must like hip-hop, you don't mind being called the n-word etc), AND going out of your way to make sure that this image is maintained, e.g. if you don't give someone a highly responsible job because s/he doesn't "look the part", or you express surprise that Africans now use broadband at home.
Another element of racism is that all members of a particular are all the same, every black person is considered to be no different from each other. there is no individual, because according to racist ideology: the members of this race don't have the capacity to think for themselves and all actions are predictable, just like cattle, besides they are less than human anyway. So with this in mind, any insult said against say a black person, when said by a racist is not aimed at just that individual, but at EVERY single member of his/her race.
Yes yes I know racism has been spoken against time and time again, but its legacy never goes away, indeed it still exists even though its much more subtle. We as black people in this kind of environment, are aware of this all too well and understandably though not always justified, I believe, can get defensive and even angry. It will probably end when theres enough trust.

I've never heard anyone say "black trash". Really the only people I hear say "white trash" are white/caucasin people. I think it's used to describe someone who lives in a trailor and you rarely see a black/african american living in a trailor. I don't see why everyone cares about race anyways. You never hear about someone being racist or beating someone because they're white but all the time you hear about what happened because someone is black and history will never let us forget it.

To refer to anyone as trash is unpleasant and shows a distinct lack of vocabulary. So white or black it doesn't matter.
People should be judged on their personality, their ability to adapt to given situations, not their colour, creed or status.
