every message board i go into, there's always some loud mouthed brit bashing americans and accusing them of being arrogant. then a sentence later boasts and brags about how superior they are with their language, spelling, sports, and etc. they call us immature and in the SAME sentence call us plonker, ****, git, and other creative names. isn't name calling for children? they scoff at our football players for wearing padding, yet i'd pay money to see one of our linebackers knock them on their duffs and when they wake up next week, then they'll know why they do.

well here's a message to the brits. we're sorry for dropping the "u" in some words. we're sorry for doing things our own way without your approval. we're sorry for being born on the wrong side of the planet. we're sorry for enjoying the freedom our country fought and struggled for. we're sorry for enjoying certain sports you don't approve of. and we're sorry for not being as perfect as you. forgive us o mighty ones.

I mean everytime someone blacks talks about slavery most people say "ah man that was so long ago" but when they talk about world war 1-2, they say those poor people. Let's give them money and start a fund for them.. just wondering thats all.

may be it ain't much like a myth to many people but here in this tiny lil town of mine this myth has a long history as people who 'd settled/worked/visited US at some phase of their lives they surely sound/seem/act/live in a better way than the rest of the flock here.So, my naive question was to the ones who r from an exotic back ground from some developing nation n now r working/staying in US, is US really tha' much of a better place to live one's life in?is the gawdy glossy image of US one gets through media is true? thanx in advance to the ones who reply.

its ******* incredible how many actors,writers,scientist,, u name the career and the ones most succesful on that line of job ..have been a freemason /// almost all the presidents have been one ..

this really seems of power cult , where u sell your soul for success o something.. but still makes or ambitions wonder
