I get the feeling some people are very tired of it. Personally, I try to tune it out like campaign advertising. Spending money on things people don't need just doesn't work for me. A pile of junk mail/catalogs, santa decorations, and horrible music before halloween is over is really too much. Seeing old friends and eating (homemade) goodies, however, is a holiday.

You mean smoke weed at Christmas? No way. this is a time for much more potent drugs then that,I double up on my pain medications.I lost all my family. Friends, home to a disaster, disabled, in horrible pain all the time, actually if people wont to pay attention to that. let them , I try to ignore such days of happiness and joy and all that crap. they make me very very sad, Its because they were so filled with joy, it makes me sick now to even think about it all.so you can stick it with your Christmas.

dilution thanks to the politically correct crowd. equal representations for all beliefs mean less focus on the main western one. even though many of us dont believe in christianity, xmas is fun for kids. unfortunately it reminds others about how christian indoctrinated the west is.

ironic that at the same time it is getting phased out, the minority beliefs are taking a more representational stand. equal rights only works for minorities.

I think it has something to do with giving consideration to people who celebrate the holiday season but "don't believe in Christ". I find that absurd since if it weren't for Jesus Christ, there wouldn't be a holiday in the first place.
