Don't play the "stop being silly" game! I just asked about the French: EVERYBODY answered "NO", or "I hate them"!

Yes, I do, I live in Spain and the Spanish are a wonderful nation, they help with the language and pronunciation and are very friendly. The Almond crop has just been gathered and our neighbour brought round a big bag of almonds for us.
We are eagerly awaiting the Orange and Olive crops as they will provide us with these for Christmas. They are very kind and generous.
Last year we had a joint celebration of Trafalgar Day, even though the British beat the Spaniards, they hold no grudge's and it was an event of thanksgiving for peace between both countries.

Used to be quite a spanglophile, but then found that their accent really annoys me. The country is a nightmare because of all the bureaucracy when you try to get anything done.
Leave it a few more years since i stopped teaching Spanish and I'm sure I'll quite like Spain, Spaniards and Spanish again.

nobody likes or dislikes a whole nation of people unless they are very foolish. you like or dislike individuals. sorry to be a wet blanket, but that's the way it is.
