Race would literally be your bloodline and ethinicity would be the culture you lean more towards. Like maybe a biracial girl, maybe white and mexican, looks more mexican, has a accent due to where she was raised, so she would be ethnically more mexican than white. That might not be worded very well and I don't mean to offend anyone.

Race is basically the color of your skin, what people consider you and Ethnicity is your culture. Like if you are Islam or muslim, you do not eat pork, you fast for 30 days and nights during November and pray at sundown. (Basically your backround, and everything you believe in and your way of living.) (In my words I wasnt sure if you wanted the fancy version lol)

hmmm. that was our topic for sociology a while ago. anyways, race refers to biological characteristics of a group of people/inherited characteristics that a group of people share, eg, how chinese people have a certain eye shape, stuff like those.

ethnicity, on the other hand, refers to the practices, or cultural characteristics that bind a group of people. cultural characteristics can be material or non-material; eg material - abaya for the muslims, non-material: rituals, etc.
