every message board i go into, there's always some loud mouthed brit bashing americans and accusing them of being arrogant. then a sentence later boasts and brags about how superior they are with their language, spelling, sports, and etc. they call us immature and in the SAME sentence call us plonker, ****, git, and other creative names. isn't name calling for children? they scoff at our football players for wearing padding, yet i'd pay money to see one of our linebackers knock them on their duffs and when they wake up next week, then they'll know why they do.

well here's a message to the brits. we're sorry for dropping the "u" in some words. we're sorry for doing things our own way without your approval. we're sorry for being born on the wrong side of the planet. we're sorry for enjoying the freedom our country fought and struggled for. we're sorry for enjoying certain sports you don't approve of. and we're sorry for not being as perfect as you. forgive us o mighty ones.

thank you for at least answering with a dialogue instead of childish name calling. my message wasn't aimed at all british people. i'm sure there are many who are nice. my message was aimed at all the brits doing the bashing on the internet.

Hello,

I totally agree with what you have said.

Some people from the UK do bash and "cuss" down people from America. The thing is, not all people from the UK do this.

Now, you must understand that some American people call people from the UK names, they take the mic out of our accent. They say go drink some tea, or eat crumpets; or you have yellow teeth.

I do not like Americans who say this to me, and again i understand not all Americans are like this; and some are nice and friendly when speaking with me.

I play on Xbox Live regularly, and i speak to people from all over the planet; many American's sorry to tell you do insult British people. But then i get into games with American's who don't, and those games are great.

I have heard British people insult American's on Xbox Live too, i will not say no we do not insult American's; because it does happen. People just have to realise that at the end of the day we are all Human, and to insult each other because of the demographic region in which we live is immature and stupid.

Thanks

Maybe your English comprehension is way too weak to understand the Brit's point.

please specify english, scottish , welsh or irish please, the others do not like being labelled british as people assume that we are english, and i can honestly say that it would only be the english who would be nasty about other countries
