What is the deal with Mexicans spray painting on everything?
Do it make them feel like a man, to paint "MNVR" or other Vato Loco BS all over the place? Why can't they see a blank wall and not paint on it? Why can't they not carve their BS into anything and everything? Why does it make you a "man" to paint and tag everything??? Why? How would they feel if I wrote "White Power" or USA #1 everywhere???

During a frank discussion in class one day I asked one of my black students who identified himself as African American if he was born in Africa... answer was no. I then asked him if his parents were born in Africa... again, no. I asked if his grandparents were born in Africa... he didn't know. I asked him if he or his parents ever even visited Africa, his answer again, was no. Then, I asked him, how could he be African American? Shouldn't he be described as black, just as caucasians are labeled as white?

The Black guys at my school are always telling me that I'm not pretty like the light-skinned girls and the latinas and that my hair was nappy. It mad me so choleric and furious and it made me feel ugly.

What do you guys do with all the "U"s that you leave out of our correctly spelt words like:::rumoUr vigoUr humoUr tumoUr harboUr etc. etc. etc. Have you got an "U" moUntain like an EEC butter moUntian or do you store them all in Fort Knox.

I am doing a report in my college nursing assessment class on cultural impacts of diet and disease processes related to the Hispanic culture. I am including the specific guidelines that I was given.

Dietary Practices- Examples: Food preferences? Forbidden foods? Ceremonial foods? How is food prepared and consumed? Beliefs about foods that cause or cure illness? Is fasting (not eating) a part of the culture and how do they define these periods? What are their significance? You can always bring samples!! Maybe an intercultural luncheon on this day? BE CREATIVE!!

Cultural impact on disease processes- what disease processes are prevalent within the cultural group? What particular practices may contribute, if any? Any cultural practices that may promote health? (Statistical research can help support information presented)

Don't worry, am doing plenty of research and reading on my own. I just wanted to hear from some of you.

I climb the tallist tree on top of the tallist mountain in my area sometimes, just to sit on top of the world,there is allways one tree on top of every hill our mountain that is taller then the rest of the trees.I used to smoke one, when I got there.to the top but got to paronoid to get down well. so I stoped that, practice.
