People classify themselves as not being prejudice but everybody can be prejudice regardless of what race you are.
What do you guys think of the KKK?.

I personally, think its the most horriblest thing anybody could present themselves as being. It's not right its very rude.

I think they are disgusting. I also think that it is an abomination that they try to pass themselves off as Christians. I have met racist people of many races and ethnicities, but as a white person, the KKK is an embaressment to my race.

You asked a valid question but I think when most people (not all) make the statement "I'm not prejudice but" they really are racist. Usually if you're not you don't need to make excuses first. The KKK is not an issue I'll even give space to. But I noticed some of the answers commented on the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam. Let's not confuse burning crosses on lawns, killing non-whites, beatings, etc. with the Black Panthers who wanted the same things whites were automatically entitled too and the Nation of Islam which is a religious organization. To some of the people that answered your question: Maybe they could do some research and find out what these 2 organizations stand for and not base your misinformation on what you've seen in a movie or the evening news. Get informed before answering a valid question with misinformation and generalization.

I say all them M.F.ers should be shot to death! Some legislators, ESPECIALLY in the South where I live, the KKK can pretty much get away with ALMOST ANYTHING!!! The Crips, Bloods, Nortenos, Surenos, Asian Boyz, Latin Kings, Vice Lords, Gangster Disciples, and Jamaican Posse get punished for saying and doing harmful things, but when it comes to the KKK saying and doing harmful things, they DON'T get punished! There SHOULD be a law stating that ANY member of the KKK or ANYONE affiliated or is a close friend of ANY member of the KKK should be either spend the rest of their lives in prison OR, my preference, should be sentenced to death by firing squad! Also, any surviving KKK members who KNOW they killed a Black person AND/OR person of any other race of color should ALSO be killed by a firing squad, no matter how old they are! If this WAS law, I would go to bed and be able to sleep PEACEFULLY at night knowing those racist and terroristic bastards will be sent STRAIGHT to hell sooner than they thought and burn there for the rest of eternity!

In old days, yes the KKK was a horrible predjidice group that used fear and death to boast thier beliefs.
Today however, the KKK is a viable group that fights for Equal rights.
What do you think if a scholorship program offered scholorship programs to only whites???
But they have Black scholorships.
Society has changed with everything else. Reverse Discrimination is becoming a real threat in today's society. Businesses are told to hire "this many" minorities, rather than allowing the busniness owners "The ones that have thier money invested" into choosing the best possible canidate for the job, no matter what color/sex/religion they are. People say KKK and they automatically think of Burning blacks on the cross, that's no different than what predjudice people think of non-whites...

Another Homeland Terrorist Group.I.E. Thanks to my fraternal's membership - I was drugged after Lab at FAMU and woke up naked in a garbage dump in Bartow, Florida with a small burnt cross beside me and my clothes folded near me. I could have had a Masters in Pharmacy due to the new 5 year program initiated my Freshman year! I knew not to return to Tallahassee so I vanished and made my way with my own friends who were sheltered from the hatred of the "former parentals"! TMI

The people on here who are making lists of hate groups who aren't necessarily white (e.g black panthers) are missing the point. And are obviously KKK sympathisers.

Of course there are hate groups of all ethnic origins, not just white. Humanity in general is very hateful. However, the biggest problem is the US right now is white-on-black violence. So that's why we focus on them.

As an Italian-American and a Jew, I have nothing but contempt for them personally. I don't like to have contempt for people, but I saw them in person (what's left of one of their "chapters", or units or whatever you call it) here when they had a "rally" one time near the area where I live in Chicago. All of our neighbors, everyone from the Italians to the Poles, to the Latin Americans and the African-Americans, all came out to vigorously protest their being in our neighborhood at all. However, due to freedom of speech (which we respect as democratic people, naturally), our city gave them the permit to hold this "rally".

I think their political views are simply despicable. Obviously they hate Jews (to say nothing of blacks) but I also found out that, in older times, they used to lynch Italian immigrants as well. They also hated Roman Catholics , and most of my friends are that, so, yes I really have nothing good to say about those kinds of people at all. Furthermore, they ARE considered to be a domestic terrorist group nowadays, so, people who join it, theoretically at least, are members of a terrorist organization. That should be borne in mind as well.

i did an article in the school newspaper this month about racism. personally, i think we should respect peoples opinions no matter what they believe. even tho they are offensive, it's their own opinion. you would want them to do the same to you. their beleifs are protected by our laws here in the u.s. and if you hate them for what they beleive, then great that is your own opinion. you have the right to hate them and they have a right to hate you. and how come you hear about how racist white people are? i mean, it's not acceptable for the kkk to have their opinion but it's okay for blacks to hate whites? you never hear anything about how stupid black supremisists are but the kkk are always made out to be the only people to hate anyone at all. what i'm trying to say is, blacks hate whites and it's okay coz they suffered for so many years but it's not okay for whites to hate blacks coz it's outdated to have those opinions. i think we should get over it all. why would anyone listen to the trash they beleive anyways? why obsess? if you just obsess about it you're bound to end up offended. i think poeple nowadays are looking to be offended just for attention.

It is a racist, un-American organization. I put it in the same category as the Nation of Islam (Calypso Louie Farrakhan's organization). The Nation of Islam is a slur on Muslims, just as the KKK is a slur on whites.

Yes, you are right, we all have some type of preferances, but we don't go around and announcing that, or we don't go around putting others down. What makes human and animals different? We, humans can think, and act with our brains, animals cannot. We have a responsibilities to act rationally and responsively. Otherwise, we can categorize ourselves as dogs and cats.
