any good question i ask ,..(which fundies muslims & christians find it difficult to answer ) , ... get reported by them , for no reason ...( it is a shame, simply works on dictats of majority )

whenever they post long rants/advetisement about their religion , it stays there forever

shouldn't yahoo answers be thinking of putting a better reporting sytem in place ?

1 Corinthians 15:29. Excuse the version, it is the Living Bible version.

"If the dead will not be raised, then what point is there in people being baptized for those who are dead? Why do it unless the dead will someday rise again?"

That is very bizarre, being baptized for the dead. Did that only hold for the period at the time Christ died or does this hold true for us today?

If you met someone who was generally a nice person and you both got on well, and then you found out he or she was a Christian... would that make you mad or possibly hate/dislike them? Would you look at them differently?

No drinking and answering.

I do realize that some people who belive in "Hell" see it as separation from God, not *actually* punishment.

this is PRIMARILY for people who believe in a hell that is actaully punishment.

do you feel that YOU deserve eternal punishment? and if your answer is something to the effect of not deserving it, because of your belief in Jesus, then I mean if it were not for Jesus, would you? why?

I'm curious what crime people who believe they have comitted that is justly punished with an infinite punishment....

Hi

I recently got into Black Sabbath, and I also found out that Ozzy Osbourne has sponsored Marilyn Manson on numerous occasions (Ozzfest).

As a Christian I am torn and confused. Marilyn Manson has been known to spew hatred and blasphemy about religion. So would that disqualify Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's music from being an appropriate option because they actively associate with him?

Oh if you have nothing constructive to contribute, please don't answer. A Christian perspective is wanted, (a minister or theologian would be nice too).

Thanks

Has anyone noticed a reoccurring theme with some of the anti abortion crowd? Rather than say the truth (that they want to spread religious ideology) we see them time and time again speak of moral and ethical reasons for their support of banning abortion. I cant think of any true Christian having an abortion (with or without a ban). One can only conclude that they are not satisfied with their own personal choices. They feel the need to force everyone else to conform to THEIR religious beliefs. The whole pro life debate has NOTHING what so ever to do with morals or ethics.
Ask yourself how moral or ethical it is to spend more money in support of a ban on abortion than the money spent on the children that are allready here. What about supporting a change in laws for the unborn such as tax laws, the ability to add the unborn as a dependent? Social security cards or even citizenship? We see them chant over and over about morals and ethics but we see them never fully support LIFE
