We are having a Christmas party tonight and I know the alcohol will be flowing.....I was thinking of what I could do to my boss for a funny prank tonight at the party....I know the other guys would be down to help me out! (something that isn't too corny yet won't get me fired!)

Looing back, I'm amazed at how little exposure I've had to other faiths. I am an open-minded person when it comes to personal beliefs; I am an Atheist, but this allows me to view all religions/beliefs as a personal expression, and to hold them all to the same value. With this in mind, I see absolutely no problem whatsoever in taking part in other faith's/belief's services, yet I have have taken part very little in such things. I have, to date, attended some Pagan/Wiccan rituals, and some Jewish observances, but overwhelmingly, my religious association has been Christian, the religion I was raised with.

I am curious if others have had greater exposure to other faiths, and if so, how did it make you feel? Were you able to acknowledge something valid in the experience? Would you participate in such observances again, if you had the opportunity?

The hydraulic press. Did you know Pascal created the hydraulic press? I didn't. He also invented one of the first syringes. Just thought you would like to know.

Just having some fun. We all need to lighten up every now and then.
Does this count as a drink?

were all assuming it`s about green house gasses. Have u geniuses figured out that maybe the earth`s orbit may be off a tad considering we`ve been having alot of inner earthquake activity this last century, or were simply just going thru a transition like we did in the 70`s when they said were going thru an ice age and it never happened. I still have national geographic magazines that show it.

Also, do your Christmas ornaments have any personal meanings to you or are they just pretty? My tree topper is a teddy bear holdijng his Santa teddy, wearing an oldfashioned stocking cap. I bought it from my oldest neice when she was in High school as a Cheerleader fund raiser. My ornaments are hodge podge. Made by my sons, bought by my sons, or bought to commemorate each year. Also a small green bell made entirely out of beads by my mother. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas or if you prefer a Happy Holidays!

He met my Grandma 'Nita and married her as well, having 2 kids...

after doing genealogy and contacting those relatives, they say I am not legit because the first wife went to the Temple and my Grandma stayed Catholic....

but on family tree we are non existent and not on their web page...we do not exist

I am catholic and I have this very political, opinionated guy that works with me and he's very very controntational. He told me that he does not believe in baptising babies, and that they should wait until they are old enough to decide for themselves which I disagreed...and then he threw me this verse...Acts 8:37 "And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart,, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God"....now as us Catholics, what are your views on his response?
