Anything I can cram in my mouth when my blood sugar drops.

My favorite snacks are
fruits, and potato chips. I also have to eat a fudge ice cream bar every night before bed.
That is my favorite snack of all.

Like your santa suit.

All three, but not at once . I made apple crisp this evening because we wanted something sweet. We usually have popcorn when we want salty, although the last time I made it in the microwave ,I put it in for 4 min instead of 2(who knew?) Well the whole house reeked of burnt popcorn and I can't get the smell out of the microwave. Yesterday we had fresh pineapple which I love and sometimes grapes .

That would all depend on what kind of mood that I happen to be in at the time. It might be my sweet tooth calling me, if that be the case, I would go for a chocolate bar and my Pepsi. If I was wanting something salty to eat, I would either go for cashews or my Party Mix and my Pepsi. If I wanted something totally different, I would more than likely go for egg rolls or something like that and my Pepsi.

Sorry Wally, I can't stand banana's any more. Long story behind that one, lol.

Left overs are my snack. My problem is my ever overly protective wife. She will not allow me to eat anything over 2 days old. Envision this if you will. In slow, slow motion.
I just found a piece of 4 day old chicken.
In slow motion she yells out noooooooooo. She is in the living room, I am in the kitichen. She is running towards me. You see every step slowly. She's not just yet a senior like me but. Wearing a skirt and apron jumps through the air as to intercept a pass thrown by Tony Romo. And just as I am about to take a bite of the chicken leg, she intercepts. "You can't eat that". "Throw that away". I love her. Always looking out for me. It seems my secret stash of leftovers is always being found. Best snacks Wally. Leftovers.

We have several things that we regard as snacks.....a small tub of Philadelphia cheese and a bag of Doritos, a cheese and crisps sandwich, slice or two of cheesecake or strawberry gateau, chocolate covered anything, do-nuts (which has just reminded us that we have some jam and fresh cream do-nuts in the fridge which need eating, mmm! yum), anything that isn't a meal is a snack in our house!

It depends on my mood and time of day.
Sweet is for at night when you can't sleep, so you turn on the TV grab a cup of coffee and a bag of candy. Cheers you right up and the you can sleep.
Salt is in the afternoon, when you are in a energetic mood. Healthy is for when you know you have a drs appt and they are going to take blood, gotta pass that cholesterol test right?
It's a science on snacks.

So many choices but my favorites are:

savory: rice cakes or a slice of cheese & a few crackers

celery & carrots with a bit of low-fat yogurt & dill weed

Must confess that I rarely crave fruit or sweets as a snack

My perfect snack is some ambrosia. I love fruit salad, it's sooooooooooo yummy! Put a few pecans or walnuts in to dress it up.
