To give us a chance to enjoy the universe he created it was our own free will that created the wars, and destruction, however having free will is much better then the alternative (slavery).

Because this is our testing grounds. We weren't made for earth, we were created for heaven. He gives everyone a chance during our time on earth to choose or reject Him. That's why we're here. To make that choice. The ones who make the wrong choice cause all the evil down here.
