The pastor of the church in Colorado that suffered the shooting just admitted this and claimed they needed that many for the size church building and congregation. Locked doors and security cameras would seem a better fit for a house of God. What ever happened to turn the other cheek as Jesus taught? What possibly could have been the perceived threat that called for that much firepower where people go to worship the Prince of Peace? And what's the deal with the state of Colorado and guns?

My next-door neighbor at our apartment had a fight with her roommate and she came over to my place because she wanted someone to talk to, but dshe keeps talking with my roommate and not with me.

She keeps asking him for advice, she's only making eye contact with him, and when she left she told him goodbye but she didn't say a word to me. I was in the room with them when all this happened. She also told my roommate that he can go and keep her company later on tonight.

I don't get it. My roommate and I know this girl equally. I've never been mean to her and I never would be mean to her. But for some reason, she just doesn't want to come to me for help. It sort of hurts my feelings, almost as if she doesn't want to talk to me. I care about her and I feel sorry for her that she had an argument with her roommate.

I hate it when telemarketers call during the evening hours. Don't you? Especially when I am eating. I am really fat, and I eat a lot of food, dudes. I LOVE eating my food. Dude. : )

I get irritated with telemarketers. Especially their superfluous line of questioning. "Well, why aren't you interested, sir? Well, can you tell me why your Mom isn't interested?"

What can I say to politely make him or her shut up, and stop calling me?

If hell has a beginning so it must be finite therefore it must have an end. i can see how heaven can be forever if heaven is being in the presence of god and god is infinite then heaven can be forever.

To my friend Angie, and other religious people out there, this is not a stab at you. I respect your believes and your religion, I am not a religious bunny however and know many who are not. I was wondering, when did this belive come common and it was not almost mandatory to follow any form of religion?

Some actually beg to differ, saying things like school shootings have more to do with stability and things done at home, also that it's about about'self control', but if the darn video games have the subliminal messages that say its alright to be violent, then what the hell?? you know?

I think video games do contribute to at least some the violence that happens alot nowadays. Kids honestly do play too many violent video games.

With my daughter its always been one of those wonderful makeup cases with tons of different eyes shadows and lip glosses and things like that in it, and a bath set, with herbal bath products and something like a bath brush or a loofa in it. And of course the socks ..... I missed one year and that was a mistake !

She counts on it every year - and was so dissapointed when she didnt get either one year. I thought she would be tired of them. But apparently not.

The evil step mother always does underwear, toothbrushes, toothpaste etc and the kids count on that too.

Now why on earth would yahoo think this belongs under pregnancy?

Do you think that images of the Divine, or icons, should be an important part of a conversion to Roman Catholicism? Why or why not?
