Does anyone know how I can volunteer for 2-3 weeks in africa building houses or something along those lines??
I've found a few youth websites but I can't afford to pay that much, I'll pay for flights and food but I cant imagine it'll cost over a grand??

for next summer, ill be 18 then as well. Please help me!!!

I am an indian and I want to persue my further studies(after 10+2) in europe.i have an indian accent so will I face racism there working as a student.should I stay in a close knit asian group.If I talk to white people will they respond or say any racist remarks.
I am quite nervous as I don’t want to imitate any foreign accent and I have wheatish complexion and am a hindu??
So I just wanted to ask that if you are white and I talk to you then will you be rude to me or respond normally??will you be friends with me??

I bought a beautiful large framed photo of Jesus (In the picture he is holding a baby -it is so life-like and so beautiful)

If someone had a news conference and showed a cute little kitten and said "We made this kitten out of dirt" what would your reaction be? Would you just believe them, or would you want some sort of evidence that they really did? Even if you were not a scientist, wouldn't you expect some kind of empirical proof? If something totally defies logic how can I accept it just on the word of someone else? I am not trying to put down anyone, I just want to explain why I need proof.

isn't this a double-standard? I mean, if there isnt any "Intelligent life"...then why spend that kind of money to search for it?..it's like saying, "I don't have a cat"...but yet i buy catfood & set it out for a cat! If someone can enlighten me, It would be appreciated! TYVM!

I am a christian and have a Jehovah’s Witnesses friend. We have talk about religion and I asked her the same question. We christian go to church on Sunday and Wednesday. The Johovah's witnesses go into the street passing out lecture . I don't know what your groups does. My things is doing these things are fine but what are we doing for hurting people? If you have money and see some in the trash seaching for food will you help them?

When movies such as "The Golden Compass" comes around (holding atheistic tones) Christians make SUCH a big deal about it?! Please...can someone PLEASE explain...Same deal with non-atheist movies/books, like Harry Potter, it's a book/movie series!! It gives out good morals and teachings!! Why praise such a movie that just OOZES with Christian stuff, yet when a movie comes around that doesn't have such a Christian meaning (aka the Compass and H.P. books/movies) those that do complain and whine about it? Ok! I spent a lot of time this year reading the rants from atheists, continually denying and knocking christianity.

So. Tell the truth now. How many atheists have told their employers that they don't want to take the Xmas holiday because they don't believe in it?

How many atheists will refuse to accept or give xmas presents?

How many will not eat or drink excessively, and avoid enjoying themselves more than usual?

It should be all of you. To celebrate or join in on something in which you don't belive must be the epitome of hypocrisy!

It has every site blocked and when I find and use a new proxy, they block it within days. And we are not allowed to dress the way we want, I can't wear my Tripp pants. We are not allowed to wear plain white t-shirts, plain red, or plain blue because they supposedly are gang related.
