anything that might have to do with their jobs...surely you can ask your bf to help you with this...find something that relates to their interest...if all fails you can get them a picture of you and your bf in a nice frame...

Do you have a World Market where you live? How old are you and how long have you and Boyfriend been together?

World Market has tons of unique and different things from around the world. Some chocolate, teas, coffees, wines. Basically this would be equal with what you'd bring a hostess at a party you are going to.

Some nice coffee and two Christmas mugs for around $10. One of those teacher gift sets of a mug filled with chocolate candy. Or if you are not yet 21, ask a parent to buy a bottle of wine for you and get one of those wine bags (they even have these at the dollar store now) to make it look decorative.

Perhaps a calendar for next year.

Personally I'd avoid the gift card route on someone you want to impress.

well you want something that is small enough to fit in a plane and in your bags. At the same time you dont want to get them an expensive thing because you might not even marry the guy. How bout a music cd for the dad. Ask your boyfriend " What kind of music does your father like? " or " Whats his favorite band? " or Guys love sports! Whats sporty? Get him his favorite football teams jersy or any other sport he likes. Then for the mother... hmmmmmmmm I know! Diamonds are a grilz best friend is what they always say! Get her some thing like earings... dosnt have to be diamonds... it could be somthing like $16 - $30. I suggest $40's or under for the parents. Im not really good at this but i hope this helps!

I think most parents are curious where you come from, so you might want to give them a present that shows them that. Perhaps your family has a certain tradition that is unique to it?

Otherwise you can try some of these ideas:

- If they drink coffee, try giving them a peculator (makes tasty and maybe stronger coffee)

- If they like steak, get them a few really good steak knives.

etc.

I just answered a similar question like this. When u don't really know them all that well a Fine Wine and Cheese Basket is a really nice first gift; depending on the fact that they do drink.

Usually a gift card works. Give it to them with a box of home made cookies :) It looks thoughtful and will make your boyfriend happy :)
