Just think why would a stranger want to give you money ?first they will ask you to open an a/c with some intial deposit, then some money for documentation and vanish. We have a proverb in India " where there are misers , cheaters will not starve". Why would a diering man think of you.If he has nochildren atleast he has neighbours - his barber, his postman, his servent- why he should take sevices an advocate if everything isa legal and honest.(You will notice that appeal comes from an advocate ) Only income from your sweat and hard work will help you.Your wush to have short cut to money will put you in trouble.Report such messages as spam and block their mails.

http://www.modestneeds.org/ I donate to people in my state of NJ

Founded in 2002, Modest Needs is an award-winning public charity with a simple but critical mission: we work to stop the cycle of poverty BEFORE it starts for the low-income workers whom conventional philanthropy has forgotten.

We do this by empowering compassionate members of the general public to safely and securely help hard-working, low-income households to afford the kinds of short-term emergency expenses that we've all encountered before: the unexpected car repair, the unanticipated visit to the doctor, or the unusually large heating bill, for example.

Since 2002, by working together in this very 'modest' way, Modest Needs' donors have stopped 4110 low-income individuals and families from entering the vicious cycle of poverty and a lifetime of dependence on the public welfare system for their survival.

And, in the process, with our 'small change,' we've freed up millions of dollars in state and federal funding that would've been used to support these people - our neighbors - had we turned our backs and done nothing to help them in their times of short term crisis.

Discover your power to instantly change a life. Please join your friends and neighbors in supporting Modest Needs.

Because Modest Needs has earned the highest possible charity rating from the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance, you can give with confidence, knowing that we won't abuse your kindness.

But more importantly, together, we can make sure that no hard-working person is ever forced to choose between taking a child to the doctor and putting food on the table.

Top Ten Reasons to Give a Modest Needs Gift Certificate
I hope you've heard one part of our big announcement for the week: the unveiling of the much-anticipated Modest Needs Gift Certificate!

Why consider a Gift Certificate from Modest Needs this holiday season? Let us count the ways...

1. Because it really is the thought that counts.
2. Because you're in the market a meaningful gift that won't necessarily break the bank.
3. Because over the years, you've given one too many scarves, picture frames, and sweaters.
4. Because a gift certificate is even better than a straight donation; you're contributing financially and spreading the word about Modest Needs at the same time.
5. Because you're not just making a donation in someone's name -- you're offering him/her the chance to hand-select a deserving person to help.
6. Because what else can you buy for as little as $10 that will change someone's life forever?
7. Because you just can't face the crowds at the mall.
8. Because it's a two-for-one deal: You're buying a gift for someone you love, and giving a stranger one in the process.
9. Because you're shopping for the person who has everything already.
10. Because giving -- and getting -- feels even better when you know you're rescuing someone on the brink of poverty.

Demelza House Children's Hospice in Kent, England. I send there every month. They are wonderful.

The Pencil Project: Simple, and easy to donate to. All they want are pencils and school supplies.

Toys For Tots: The best for Christmas. I donated over 200.00 worth of toys, games and stuffed animals this year. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
