Ho would you describe Pope John Paul ll?

Gentle, intelligent, well-traveled, well-read, inspirational, and a key historical figure as well as a religious one.

He was a good man who did more for the church than the last popes of 100 years have done (except the Pope from Vatican II). Pope John Paul II truly improved the image of the church and if you ask me the new Pope can't never be like him. I don't think no one can.

I wish I knew him, sadly I did not realize I was catholic back then, he even came to my hometown shortly before he passed on- I do miss him though.
