The knowledge of who God is is of primary importance and, according to the Bible, means everlasting life. (John 17:1, 3; 2 Thess 1:7, 8)

So if the Son really is God, then there should be an ABUNDANCE of CLEAR statements saying "God the Son" (equal to those declaring "God, the Father – Ro. 15:6; 1 Cor. 1:3; 1 Cor. 8:6; 2 Cor. 11:31; Gal. 1:1; Eph. 4:6; 1 Thess. 1:1; 2 Thess. 1:2; etc.) found in scripture from the beginning.

Shouldn't the belief (or non-belief) in the Trinity be founded on what is encompassed with what the Bible says AS A WHOLE instead of focusing on a few misinterpreted scriptures?

I was just wondering if anyone had information about white children adopted into black families. I always hear about blacks adopting mixed or black children, and whites adopting white or other races. I have never seen a white child adopted into a black home before. I'm just asking because I'm thinking about adopting a child from Russia or Romania.

The boy scouts in Philadelphia were evicted from a building that they built due to their policies against homosexuality. In this case, the goverment's morality on the issue disagreed with the morality of the boyscouts... so they were evicted.

Do you think it is right for the government to do this? Please explain.

I absolutely can't stand people who say "hun" and "dear" with everything. It feels like they are talking down to you as they are older and wiser. It's also comical to hear an 18 year old call you hun/dear, which just happened to me a couple minutes ago. It gets on my nerves incredibly, anyone else feel the same?

By the way the using hun and dear in your answer is not creative, original, or funny so don't bother. If you really feel the need to be hilarious go for it though. I won't laugh but whatever helps you get your kicks in life, I won't judge...

I am a nanny for a family with 4 children. They are so very generous to everyone they know. I am truely blessed to have them in my life. The only problem is, I don't know what to get the mom and dad. They are both around 36 years old. They have enough money to buy anything they might want. I could use some gift ideas for around $30.00 each. The kids were no problem, but every year I get stumped with the parents!! Thanks in advance!

Can you "choose" to prefer the smell of moth balls to fresh baked bread?

Can you "choose" to prefer brussel sprouts over cotton candy?

Can you "choose" what you believe, or does your mind automatically sort the unbelieveable from the believeable?

My young niece is in fourth grade. She is asking for a cell phone but her mother doesnt think she can handle that responsibility. She is right in the transition age where she's wanting older kid things but also still in the toy stage. Her mother & I are struggling to find presents for her that she will like but are also appropriate & easy enough for her to control.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

little to no say when it comes to children and the right to life?
If a woman wants to abort her baby in a marraige or out of marraige she does not even have to consider the man? I know a Man who wanted a child he bore with a woman and she decided *no* she was getting rid of it, even though he said he would take care of it wanted nothing from her, she said *it's my body, yet his seed mattered not.

Pretty hypocritical for some here to say homosexuals should have there day yet many men and unborn children have no say? why is that? because they have no voice?

The Family I guess is a old tradition that has no meaning in such a High Technological Society where the secular screamers are the ones to call the shots huh?

We should form a peaceful movement to prove to everyone that faith is the main problem with theistic religion. It is faith that attempts to justify belief and devotion without any understanding. Without understanding, an individual is far more likely to form untrue beliefs for an undeniably ridiculous reason(s), lacking any valid argument (ie, with factual or sensible support). Without a valid argument, it is hard to progress in society, not only in academic subjects, but also in being able to live together. Disagreements that can't be resolved because they have no valid arguments lead to hate, and hate to war.
However, without faith, people would be able to look at their beliefs seriously, and form valid arguments for believing so. With valid arguments, people can more easily exchange ideas in an intellectual manner, without irrationality or redundancy, and far less anger. There would be less hate and less war, and no one would be irrationally afraid of new ideas. Any thoughts?
