Yes, I am definitely convinced that Jesus will return but will he be what we would expect him to be like? Studying old texts and following religious denominations and creeds is, in my own opinion, the biggest waste of effort that has ever been foisted on humankind. No proof of god's existance needed here because I had a personal, shattering experience which ruined my Roman Catholic stance forever!!
Whether you believe me or not is a matter of choice but my experience earned me a place in a scientific magazine and an in depth interview by and officer of the British Transport Police. Getting straight to the point, I saw what I perceived to be what people would call a machine from another world which instantly insinuated to me that we are not unique because it flies in your face that if these machines were built by other intelligent beings, then it means they are far more advanced in technology than we are and that they were in existance before we were. This puts paid to the idea that we are alone and are of devine origin. It also raises serious questions about our future and what exactly will turn up if or when Jesus returns to planet Earth.
When the Magi followed the star, what were they witnessing in all truth and reality? The star of wonder could quite easily have been a spacecraft that finally shone a light above the cattle shed where we are to believe Jesus was born. Next question, who was Jesus? Does ET accept that the child was the saviour of the world or was the child of alien origin. After all said and done, alien involvement sounds far more plausible than the nonsense we are taught to swallow from being a very early age at school.
It seems strange that, when you read the scripturesespecially the Old Testament, it is cram packed with descriptions of supernatural events and of mystical beings flitting here, there and everywhere. When people evolved further and learned how to read and write for themselves, these fantastic events and visions dried up never to be seen again so what on earth had been going on in reality. Religeous belief is a bag of shite if you ask me because, even in its essence, death and destruction is attached to it from start to finish and I think that people should be looking elswhere for salvation instead of waiting for an event which will be nothing more than first contact with alien beings and we should not be too surprised to learn that one will be called Jesus, another Muhammad and another Buddah.
From the age of the dinosaur to the age of man, things have swerved from the rediculous to the sublime so what if we are naught but advanced lab rats created by aliens simply for scientific study. At the end of the day, all experiments come to a conclusion and when we are concluded, maybe we will be annihillated like the dinosaurs were and then something else replacing us as the dominant species.
Maybe I am talking a load of tosh and crap, but I did genuinely see what I saw and it was not a ruddy joke by any means because it left me shocked and traumatised for many months and I am still bothered about my own mortality because I keep wondering if anything at all will happen to my soul,if I ever had one, once I inherit the same as everyone else - six feet of earth or a quick trip to the crematorium.

A world that is cursed? I don't understand that one. How do you know you are going to make it to heaven? Your soul is weighed against the weight of a single feather.
What is above-is also below,
Why go now, we are so close, ride it out a bit longer, chose your side you stand with. There are only two sides to chose from.

Five apples on a tree:
Apple one: I am a good apple and I believe when I leave this tree I will fall left and all apples who don't believe this will go to hell.
Apple two: I am a good apple and I believe when I leave this tree I will fall right and all apples who don't believe this will go to hell.
Apple three: I am a good apple and I believe when I leave this tree I will fall up and all apples who don't believe this will go to hell.
Apple four: I am a good apple and I believe when I leave this tree I will fall down and all apples who don't believe this will go to hell.
Apple five: I don't know which way I will fall but I am a good apple.
ALL apples fell down.

The only way to go to heaven and not be sent to eternal hell is to believe that Jesus, who is God, died for your sins on the cross and rose again.

Religious belief is definitely a curse on society, given its historical results.
I have hope that we will be able to overcome it one day though.
Make sure to buckle in for the flight, and don't leave the spike in.
