I worked for a company for years, and they were bought out. The new MD took a disliking to me (wanted all his own staff) and made my life so bad I left. I had to take a lower paid job elsewhere ( I had worked my way up the old company).

Anyway, I have discovered that he has been having an affair with a woman at work for 2 months - he has only been married for 4!

His wifes family live next door to my mother - and I know just by telling my mother the family would find out. His wife would surely take him to the cleaners. I am so tempted to ruin things for him like he did to me. The whole company are talking about his behaviour with this girl - and they even booked a double room together at the xmas do!

It isnt the first time - he left his first wife while she was carrying his third child for the woman he has just married!

What would you do?

Isn't it even more annoying when Atheists say "Atheism is the absence of religion" even though that isn't what Atheism means?

Helle everyone,
Since a couple of months I have a boyfriend, I live in Belgium and the law is very tolerant for gay-people. But do you find that we may kiss in public or would you be shocked?

Two of my brother's friend's walk into the room and I'm lying on the couch. I only know one of them and he introduces me to the other. Should I stand up to shake his hand or remain seated and he'll come over to me? What's polite for me to do in that situation? It hasn't happened in awhile but this is for future reference, I don't want to be rude to anyone!

Thanks so much.

Ok, for my religious ed project, I need to write a paper on a saint of my choice for my confirmation name. The saint has to be important to you, and I love funny things, to make people laugh, etc. My teacher said that it's saint lawrence/laurence, but there are a lot and I was wondering which one it was...Thanks!!!

Okay, so not all Christians get together on Saturdays and burn Harry Potter. It is only wackos who think that Harry Potter deserves firey death. However, I think I may have stumbled upon a "nice" sort of wacko, while searching for a comprehensive list of the effects of a Pokemon's Nature.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but most Christians I know enjoy Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and perhaps Pokemon-- QUIETLY. These people don't feel the need to find scripture in every single piece of media that they get their hands on.

Not so with this site, which seems convinced that Jesus is in everything from Anne Rice vampire books to The Princess Diaries.

Do you know anyone like this? Christians, do you feel that there is Scripture in everything?

From what I've heard, Islam is a religion of peace, so why is it when there are terrorists, they always say there ways are supported by their religion, and therefore labled muslim extremeists? You never hear of Christian extremeists or Atheist extremeists.

I dont study Islam and I don't hate Islam, just wondering the answers to my question above.

I'm not so familiar with civilizations or religions prior to Judaism, but I have to do a group on the contributions that Judaism made to the world or other religions. I was thinking about down that Judaism actually encouraged humans to read God's word through scriptures or writings and try their best to obey God by doing so. I ws wondering if that is true and appropriate to put down a contribution.

Yahoo recently posted a story on who and how much you should tip people this holiday season. I was surprised that pizza deleiver drivers were not included. I work part time as one and I am amazed how little I get tipped. I also deliver in North Dakota where it's frigid this time of year and the roads are snow covered. I understand people need to be careful with their money during the holidays but us drivers make pocket change per hour, we use our own cars and gas and depend on getting decent tips. I think at least 2 dollars for every 10 spent is sufficient. Do people look down on us and don't think we are worthy of a tip? I'd like to hear your thoughs.

She's reasonably active for her age. She lives by herself, gets out of the house a lot, crochets, takes line dancing, exercises regularly, and is very close to me. I don't want to get her one of those traditional figurines, plaques, or books that have nice quotes about grandmothers, because she doesn't speak too much English...
If I were to give her something homemade and personal, what should I make? If I buy something, what are some good ideas? I'm also on a budget, so under $20 would be good.
Thank you!
