Should Pope Benedict condemn and delist Pope John XXIII as a heretic?

Remove Pope John's body from the Vatican and burn it?

Pope John XXXIII (Vatican II) was responsible for bringing the European Catholic Church part way into the real world of Galileo and the Space Age and translating Church services finally into the English language.

Or would it be easier to just ask Pope Benedict to resign (the same question which was put to President Bill Clinton in the White House)?

Portrait (He knew)
"He had a thousand ideas
You might have heard his name
He lived alone with his visions
Not looking for fortune and fame
Never said too much to speak of
He was off on another plane
The words that he said were a mystery
Nobody was sure he was sane

But he knew
He knew more than me and you
No one could see his view
Oh where was he going to?

He was in search of an answer
The nature of what we are
He was trying to do it a new way
He was bright as a star
But nobody understood him
"His numbers are not the way"
He was lost in the deepest enigma
That no ones unraveled today

But he tried
And before he could tell us he died
When he left us the people cried
"Oh where was he going to?"

He had a different idea
A glimpse of the master plan
He could see into the future
A true visionary man
But there's something he never told us
He died when he went away
If only he could have been with us
No telling what he might say"

Is this song about an actual person or is it more of an archetypal persona?
Has anybody who ever lived match that description?
Are there people like that alive today?
And what do you think it is that he knew?
Could anybody really claim to know some of the things implied?
And why couldn't he tell them what he knew?

I am a new step mom but really don't feel like it. Last Christmas I felt weird about this and again this year. How do I sign my Christmas cards. My step son is 16 and he is never at our house. He has never slept over at our place once. I rarely ever see him. Last year I seny out Christmas cards to my family just from my husband and me and to my husbands family from all of us (me, husband, step son.). I just feel so wierd about this because I really don't feel like his step mom or act in a motherly way to him because he doesn't live with us and is never over. What do you do in this situation?

I serve. I have for a while, and I hosted in the same restaurant for about two years before that. From the service point of view there are a few things I would like to say, and I've asked why people think it's okay to talk down to a server? I'll first say that not everyone should be one. It's a lot of people skills. It's a lot to juggle. Being sat four times in a row is not the most easy thing to deal with, sometimes. If you can't deal with people, don't choose a people profession. I will say, that if you walk into my section and talk down to me because I'm "only a server"; you won't get my best service. You don't know that I've been through four years of college and am continuing grad school. I need to pay my rent, too. You come out because you don't want to do it at home...but then treat those that are doing it for you terribly. That could be *your* son, or daughter. Not every wrong in a restaurant is the server's fault...but we end up taking flak for a lot of it. Just a curiousity.

Does anyone know what heritage the White Elephant gift exchange is from, or what country it started in? I don't need to know the rules or anything, or what you got in it, just its heritage. Not trying to be rude or anything, so don't take it personally..... And does anyone know why its called "white elephant"?

As senior car park attendant in charge of someone we hope to get soon, it can be quite lonely and I thought Y Answers to which I have just associated myself seemed a friendly haven where some of my actions would be supported as an official doing a difficult job with people like the Liddl crowd who will use our spaces when they know I am on break but the responses have been very similar to our more well, awkward regular customers who ignore the rules and threaten to cut me.

Asbestosis, Agent Orange, jobs in mines, oil industry etc.
Most of us forget the dangers still out there that are contaminating people.
When my son prepared to accept a job in Oregon in the oil industry he had to undergo testing for contamination. He passed after 12-15 yrs. exposure.
Without seeking the information the majority of us do not realize how
many have died.
Did you or the family receive any compensation?

I realize that anyone can be friends, but according to the scriptures(if you choose to believe) two people can not fellowship together unless they believe the same thing. How is that even possible? I have friends and we don't always agree on the same topics yet we remain friends.

Does that mean that rap musicians will be allowed to play there? Or no black comedians would be allowed to perform there? Because almost ever other word they use is the "N" word. Or is that law just directed towards white people?

What is your input?
