The devil has an overwhelming influence over anyone who firmly believes in its existence, whether they are "satanists" or not. I think that the devil influences these god-fearing people (in whichever religion they belong to) because they, themselves, give it that kind of power. In the state of Alaska, which gives driver's license numbers serially, skipped the numbers that began with 666. Why? Not because they were devil-worshippers, but because the fear of the well publicized "mark of the beast" on the part of Christians exerted enough overwhelming influence to skip that part of it entirely. Throughout the Christian world, you will find a lot of places where 666 is removed because of the devil's influence. I'm sure there are other examples from other religions besides Christianity, but I'm unfamiliar with any other behavior influenced by the devil.

Obviously a majority of the people who've answered this question before me, lol.
The ones that are saying that there is no God, or devil. Basically that it's all a myth, and how it's not true. Which it all is true...
Sad to say, but probably about 60% - 70%.
"It's all based on basic astronomy, and astrology."
Lol..how do you figure? That's science "proof" against the actual Biblical truth. So don't use your Science "evidence" against the Bible...Because Scientists will attempt to come up with every kind of arguement against Creation.
Saying that God and satan are all of astronomy and astrology is just stupid...
End of discusion.

Jesus/Horus is nothing more than a personification of the SUN. Satan is nothing more than a personification of the planet SATURN, the 6th planet.
Much of Judaism comes from an ancient egyptian religion based upon the worship of Osiris and the planet Saturn. The jews don't believe in the Cruci - Fiction or Cross Fiction... they worship Saturn instead of the Sun like Christians do... (both unknowingly of course) this is why the Jews have their holy day on SATURday, and Christians have their holy day on SUNday, and this is also why they bible verses call them the "Synagogue of Satan" and because they were the enemy of the Roman Catholic Church who wrote the new testament in the first place.
There is no imaginary good guy out to save you, and there's no imaginary bad guy out to get you. It's all based on basic astronomy, and astrology.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

I think he has an influence on everyone. But people who are actually being led around by him on a daily basis, I wold say about 75% of the population. Mind you, this is a guess since there are no polls and most that are being led by him would not admit to it.

anyone that watches tv,listens to todays rock, rap, hip hop, etc. anyone that watches or looks at porn. any one that is not repented of their sins and have asked forgiveness. the ones that aren't in the Bible daily asking for the guidance of the holy spirit, through prayer will fall for all of satans lil tricks. without being rooted in God's word there is no defence against satan.
