I kiss my sons and close male relatives and even some friends and I am not gay.
So just to see two people greeting each other with a hug and even an affectionate kiss is not shocking at all.
When I see two young teenage girls dressed in the middle of summer like it's Halloween, making out on the subway or two queers giving each other deep throat in public I find disgusting and revolting probably worse then if two heterosexuals were doing similar things.
So if you mean the first, I don't think many people will find any problem with that. If you're meaning more like my second example , my advice would be for you to go back into the closet or just stay in Belgium. We already have enough of that kind of BS to be shocked by in the USA.

Ok I have absolutely NOTHING against gays! I support it all the way. However, not everyone does. I think that it would be a little inappropriate for two men to be kissing in the streets, but I think it's inappropriate for a man and woman to kiss in the streets as well. PDA is not attractive, but then again a peck on the lips is not as bad as sticking your tounge down someones throat lol. I guess it just depends on what kind of kissing it is.
Does that make sense?

I live in a town noted for being so liberal,
but let me think.
I'm fine with homosexuality,
I actually always find it really cute if I see two boys walking down the street holding hands,
and my friends all agree with me.
Yeah, I think you should be fine kissing in public,
but if you're around friends or family,
make sure that they won't be offended by it.
Aw. Gay boy couples are so sweet.
(I don't mean to generalize, just that all the ones I see are. I think it's just the fact that they're boys)

I wouldn't care any more than I do when I see another couples kissing.
So, I try to mind my own business, but it's nice to see people enjoying each others company, IMHO. There are far too many examples of people being hostile, no harm in gaining some balance with some PDA's

I don't know how people react there but here in u.s. it differs from area to area. I'm ok with it, my sister is gay, and being around her and her friends going to clubs etc, I myself don't even pay attention. I think as long as its a kiss and not the invite to see you 2 in a porno then why not! That goes for any couple, gay, straight, etc, a kiss is a kiss, but a full make out, should be kept for private.

I love seeing people be affectionate and loving with each other, regardless of their sex. Unfortunately there are bigots and homophobes who don't feel the same. I've never been to Belgium - have you seen other same-sex couples kiss? If so, you should be OK.
I really wish we lived in a world where you didn't have to ask this.

In the US, if a gay couple were to kiss, I'd say MORE power to ya. But then again, other people would hate and make fun, so if you're worried about that, practically speaking, i'd keep it in private. If Belgium isn't as uptight about it, then go for it if you feel safe and loved.

I think it is a beautiful thing when two people who love and care for each other hug and kiss in public. I would not be shocked seeing two homosexual people kissing. I would smile. My best friend is gay and I have no problem with his sexuality. I am totally for it as a straight female. =] You should not worry about what people think... do as you want and have no shame!

I personally wouldn't have a problem with it. Since I'm a waitress, and we often cater to parties where alcohol is present in copious amounts, two guys kissing is one of the more tame things I've seen.

I don't know about belgium but its fairly common in most towns in the United States. Go for it, if someone messes with you too bad threaten to file a hate crime lawsuit.
