Why is Islam always related to terrorism?

From what I've heard, Islam is a religion of peace, so why is it when there are terrorists, they always say there ways are supported by their religion, and therefore labled muslim extremeists? You never hear of Christian extremeists or Atheist extremeists.

I dont study Islam and I don't hate Islam, just wondering the answers to my question above.

It isnt. It is easy to get them both confused though when listening to the Media because they often put them in the same sentence. I dont believe the majority of the world believe in such a thing, only people who arent really paying attention. This is mostly due to Osama Bin Laden because of his own personal agendas and what he preaches to his followers. These are all lies and it takes some really depressed people to listen to him. Ever wonder why he doesnt do anything he tells others to go and do. Its almost like he has made himself a prophet of Allah. Its all bullshit. If he actually did all the things he so called- believes Hed be dead and his tyranny as well.

Because the media causes fear and only shows Muslim radicals instead of real Muslims who are condemning the actions of the radicals so this causes people in the West to think that Islam means violence, oppression of women, and terrorism.
