I am a Christian, this is a fact I have mentioned on here several times if it is relevant, because of this, these are some of the comments I have received
All religion is crap
You are stupid if you believe in that crap
you are week minded and easily led
you are a troll
And Aziz the rapist threatened to kill me if I didn't convert to Islam, sorry to name and shame but you did
If I was weak minded and easily led would I not be more inclined to side with the people who call me stupid rather than the word of the Lord
Now here is the question, if you don't believe,in Christ, your loss, but Christ died to give you the freedom to choose, and you have, why at the end of this month will you be drinking and feasting and exchanging gifts to celebrate the birth of someone you "know" doesn't exist, Really am I stupid?

why do christians change the words in the bible whenever they don't suit their specific needs at that moment?

i just had some nutter tell me that "evil" doesn't mean "evil" it means "calamity."

so, here are some verse of the bible i have corrected.

Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and calamity

. Gen 37:33 And he knew it, and said, [It is] my son's coat; an calamity beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.

Mat 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an calamity man out of the calamity treasure bringeth forth calamity things.

i can't say they do any poetic justice to the verses, but i wondered what other words in the bible you are supposed to replace. anyone know?

he created the devil, he is omnipotent, so he could stop all of it whenever he felt like.
according to the old testament he loves to see others suffer, whether it's his followers or anyone else.
nothing has changed in 6000 years.

As a Christian, are you afraid to question the bible? If you discovered that the god of the bible cannot be true and real would you then be scared you were going to hell or dive into debauchery? If you discovered that fantasy and imagination make up large parts of religion and spirituality would you lose faith that a god even CAN exist? Why are you really so religious? I don't want to hear all the proof. I've already studied the proof. It's flawed. Do you think religious people have a mental illness of sorts- invisible things love me and hate me?

If so, why aren't they in the Bible now? Don't the Catholics get together every year to determine what books stay in and what comes out?

I have often watched the news and wondered if there is more I can do, but, so many years after BandAid, USA for Africa etc, the situation seems to be just as bad, if not worse. Constant civil wars, corruption, failed economies etc.

Can someone please enlighten me on the situation? I understand that the Europeans left a bad legacy as the Africans were decolonized, with little regard for tribal / ethnic notions of land / borders. However, is this a liitle too simplistic? I compare so many successful nations in Asia (think Singapore, India, Hong Kong etc) that were also former European colonies, yet they do not seem to be the economic basket cases we see in Africa (and yes, I realise that ALL nations have some problems, even the Asian ones I mentioned, but none seem to have the ongoing issues with poverty, disease and war that African nations have).

Please do not think this is a swipe at hardworking Africans, just trying to understand the root of problems and solutions.

I really am clueless as to whether she is Muslim or not. I will assume she is.
Why does she tell so many false things about Islam?
i.e. If a Muslim man marries a non Muslim woman then the marriage is not valid until the couple has sex. If they don't have sex on their wedding night without a just reason(the wife is on her period) then the marriage is nullified.

just one among SO many things she says that are not correct and false to a degree of dangerous levels. Not only does she claim they are truth she fails to EVER quote Quran or hadeeth.

An overweight blonde went to see her doctor for some advice. The doctor advised that she run ten miles a day for thirty days. This, he promised, would help her lose as many as twenty pounds.

The blonde followed the doctor's advice, and, after thirty days, she was pleased to find that she had indeed lost the whole twenty pounds. She phoned the doctor and thanked him for the wonderful advice which produced such effective results.

At the end of the conversation, however, she asked one last question:

"How do I get home, since I am now 300 miles away?"
