"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
II Corinthians 4:3-4

"The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools..."
Romans 1:18-22

Yeah, obviously the great man in the sky put all those pretty little lights up there for our enjoyment...
Please. That isn't going to convince anyone intelligent enough to understand that stars aren't decorations.

"They have been raised by non-believers and destined to walk blind and with hate and judgement like there parents."

I was raised by strongly religious people, mate, and just because I don't believe in your version of Magic-Man doesn't mean I hate and I judge. We could've gotten along fine if you didn't go ahead and condemn me to hell for not thinking how you do. And you call me the hateful one! I'm sure Jesus of Nazareth would be proud.

Btw, how are stars incompatible with every other religion that has ever existed? What makes yours special?

We need a bit more than "there is NO way it was an accident".

Any halfway decent astonomer could destroy that argument in no more than a couple of sentences.

If you're going to argue for God at least try and come up with a more substantial argument.

Really? Can you please support that statement? Why couldn't the stars have been an accident?

I don't believe in God because there is no evidence to suggest he exists, and there are alternative (and empirically supportable) explanations for everything that has been attributed to God. Furthermore, divine intervention is not required; life can cope quite well without God.

Look at it from my perspective: isn't nature wonderful? The stars, the beauty we see around us every day - everything arose and adapted to its environment by chance. That is the most jaw-dropingly, mind-blowingly amazing thing about the universe. Nature rocks!

Seriously though, if you can support your statement with a well grounded argument, I'm all ears.

Many may believe a Creator/ God exist. But many think even so, that such a magnificient being may not be interested in helping that person or person through life. So even if one acknowledges Gods existence, it is Gods Help that is often hard to accept as being really available to anyone, who simply trust by asking. The Creation is no accident, but God Never said God was not an accident.....:)

stars = god.....

holocaust = god
9/11=god
7/7=god
cancer = god
disease = god
hunger = god
poverty = god

why does nobody use THAT argument to try and prove god is real??
because then he'd look like a real a*hole....

so i dont believe in god....because i can imagine a massive guy with sandals and a cardigan on saying....today...im going to kill loads&loads of people...and cast a rainbow to even it out...
its a joke, it really is

I take it you've not been here long?

Did you always know there was a God because there are a lot of stars that look beautiful at night?

Jesus said, "The devils believe in God and are frightened."

Jesus said, "Unless you are borne again, you will never see the kingdom of God."

Are you borne again?

The Holy Spirit was sent by
God, specifically as proof.
Ask for the Holy Spirit to prove to you
that Jesus Died in your place

P.S. Keyring OS,I think that the stars ARE decorations; God sized ones.
They probably have more to do with keeping all things in balance though.

I'm not trying to bash a fellow believer but you really need to bring a little bit more substance when you are trying to convince those that don't believe in God that there is a God.

Just to save you some future grief. It is a faith issue. God reveals himself only to those that truly wish to know him. Since these individuals do not want a relationship with God, He is not going to waste his time on trying to establish one with them. If, or when, they are ready, he will be there. Thank you for your question and God Bless.

The same way someone doesn't believe in Santa Clause. I mean, look at all those gifts! How could you not believe?

EDIT: To 1985 & Going Strong - If stars are enough "proof" that a God exists, then surely presents are more than enough to be convinced of Santa Clause. You have your proof Santa doesn't exist - it is your bank account. Atheists' have proof that a God didn't make those stars - it is science. Nice argument though.

Because the amazing beauty of the universe doesn't prove God's existence. Looking at the stars makes us all wonder at the immensity and complexity of it all....we just don't all come to the same conclusion about it.

The stars do not spell God. At least not in the mainstream perception. Look again, and see that there is more complexity. You were meant to look at thinks like the stars, and not a single book.
