My Dad got sick from drinking too much eggnog and threw up under the Christmas tree on Christmas night. I was about 10. Kind of put two and two together and figured it out.

I believe in the true St Nick, the old guy in the Brown Suit, but as for the red suit that coca cola made and flying around the world, nope, not really.

I just wanted to answer this question solely to just give my hugs to everyone who went through a bad experience with regards to Santa. Some of these are so sad.
I reckon its anecdotes like this as well as the commercialism of Christmas that kind of ruins it for many.

To be uncomplicated, I in no way did. My father and mom delivered me up devoid of telling the lies of the Santa and the tooth fairy etc. It became a something that i think I neglected in my early existence even though it made me greater mature as a man or woman. you may tell that by using watching a number of my buddies :)

I never believed in Santa. When I was about 3 or 4 my mom said something about presents from Santa and I told her that I didn't believe in him. I just didn't understand how a fat guy could fit in our chimney.

I've never really stopped believing. But my perception of him has altered, from a man in a red suit who gives me stuff to a general spirit of good cheer and well wishes.
